euphy
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...njured-reserve/ The troubling season for Carolina’s “Double Trouble” backfield is only getting worse. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports via two sources that the Panthers are “strongly considering” placing DeAngelo Williams on injured reserve. The decision could come as soon as Wednesday. Williams has a “strained arch” that is expected to keep him out at least another month. This is the first sign that the Panthers are starting to look ahead to next year and think a little differently than they might if they were in playoff contention. Williams’ usual backfield mate Jonathan Stewart also missed last week’s game with a concussion but should be back soon. The Panthers are 27th in rushing yards this season, with Mike Goodson of all people having one of their best performance of the season last week against Tampa. 46f3
Dropped him a while back. I had drafted him, partially based on homerism, partially based on last year's output and the assumption there would heavy involvement in the run game. Boy, was I wrong! ajfalcone
Too bad really. Im such a J-Stew fan it hurts to see a wasted year of talent. That team needs new life and blood in coaching, probably a college coach will get his shot in Carolina next year.
Menudo
Good.....now, I won't be tempted to start him.
SeductiveNun
Well that would certainly open up a roster spot for a backup kicker. (we freeze our rosters after week 13 for our playoffs and the way kickers have been dropping like flies this year it's better to be safe than sorry)

Wow, this is awesome!
gsmayes
So should I not cut Stewart now, was going to pickup Ward as handcuff to Foster?
damageinc
When he is back Stewart would be the starter so hes worth keeping around if its true .
Bronco Billy
Looks like Goodson could be worth more than a 1 week flyer...

Slugs3511
In a 12 man ppr league, he did not go in our first round.....Was he going in the first round in other leagues....? WOW!
Swashbucklers
In a 12 man ppr league, he did not go in our first round.....Was he going in the first round in other leagues....? WOW! I took him at 2.2 in one 12 team league. Thankfully I traded him for Ray Rice before he got hurt. In my other 12 team league, I believe he went 1.
DaFreak
(KFFL) The Carolina Panthers have placed RB DeAngelo Williams (foot) on Injured Reserve, ending his 2010 season, according to Steve Reed, of CarolinaGrowl.com.
Jrick35
In a 12 man ppr league, he did not go in our first round.....Was he going in the first round in other leagues....? WOW! Good point!! D-wills season is only considered a "bust" if he was drafted in the 1st rd. If you got him in the 2nd rd you got a STEAL!!
BillyBalata
Got him in the 2nd round in my Wcoff draft. Was able to snag Randy Moss in the 1st!
historymike
Got him in the 2nd round in my Wcoff draft. Was able to snag Randy Moss in the 1st! Third round for me, but still: he produced almost nothing, and considering that I missed out on the likes of Hillis, Jamaal Charles, and Jahvid Best for DWill, it was still a painful wasted pick. At least I dumped him 10 days ago, and now I get to fire back at the league owner who ripped me in the message board for "smoking crack" when I dropped DWill. lkirc
I saw Randy Moss go in the first in a lot of leagues. Talk about a first round bust......
Seahawk
Dropped him last week for Hightower then dropped Hightower for Louis Murphy both are better plays quite frankly. DeAngelo when healthy wasn't good and with his schedule as scary as it is he's not worth keeping.
