Dcat
http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/40237575/ns/...ts-player_news/ Texans coach Gary Kubiak revealed that Matt Schaub was hospitalized Tuesday night with a bursa sac problem in his knee.Kubiak didn't say if Schaub had surgery, but it sounds like a definite possibility. The head coach only passed along that Schaub is "doing well" and should be back with the team tomorrow. With the Jets' pass defense on the docket, Schaub's injury could be a major blow to Houston's passing attack. Darrelle Revis held Andre Johnson to 35 yards on four catches last season. Not sure why its not posted yet on the Huddle updates.
Dcat
scouting around for updates. Found this: Texans quarterback Matt Schaub missed practice today while undergoing treatment for a bursa sac injury in his knee. Coach Gary Kubiak said Schaub spent the day at Methodist Hospital. Kubiak said he expects Schaub back on the practice field Thursday, and if all goes according to plan, he will start against the Jets on Sunday. Dan Orlovsky played with the starters in practice today and Matt Leinart was the backup. Bursitis happens when bursae, the fluid-filled sacs that lie between a tendon and skin, or between a tendon and bone, become inflamed. The condition is painful but tends to go away after a few weeks with propert treatment.

Started in February with just inflammation and he barely got back to health by the start of the next season.

The only reason you'd admit him to the hospital was if you were worried the bursa was infected. If infected, this could be a bit of a disaster fantasy-wise. For Schaub's health, he'll recover just fine whether it's infected or not. Let's hope it's not. My Texans-heavy team would head straight into the tank...
