Grits and Shins Posted November 22, 2010 Share Posted November 22, 2010 After his last huge 3 TD game earlier in the year where he was the difference in you beating me in Hannibals I grabbed him in my local and he's been in my lineup ever since. Sure he's had some bad weeks, but I don't know how anyone could bench him with the way he's been playing. The BUF offense has been just airing it out week after week. It's been a long time since a WW pickup has actually panned out for me. I usually moss the boat on THAT guy every year. Well in Hannibals I benched him to start Mike Wallace (27.50), Miles Austin (14.70) and Hakeen Nicks (7.10 from the 1st half). None of those guys are slouches either ... although it could be argued that with Kitna at the helm Austin is benchable. In my local I benched him to start Mike Wallace (22.50), Larry Fitzgerald (21.00), and Mike Williams - TB (14.40). I also benched Michael Turner (19.60) to start Mike Thomas (14.60) thinking that Thomas would do well with MSW out. As you can see I struggle every week picking the 3 or 4 WRs to start. I guess when I said I don't see how folks could bench him is really roster dependent, but for me he's falling into the STUD category now and I have to play him every week.
