Vince Young

He was injured, left the game ... not sure just what happened afterward, all I could find was this oddity from KFFL, although it sounds a bit like Young had another meltdown of some sort:

Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher said QB Vince Young (thumb) is no longer the team's starting quarterback, reports Jim Wyatt, of The Tennessean. Young left abruptly after the team's Week 11 game and Fisher said there was no excuse for his actions.

As the Tennessean writes, Young abruptly left the stadium immediately following the Titans 19-16 overtime loss, tossing his shoulder pads into the crowd before exiting the field.

After he changed into street clothes, he emerged from the locker room, and though safety Michael Griffin, clad only in shorts, ran after him, he couldn’t catch Young.

"... and though safety Michael Griffin, clad only in shorts, ran after him, he couldn’t catch Young."

Well, Young always did have that speed/mobility thing going for him ... I'll bet that "safety Michael Griffin", whatever he was clad or not clad in, could have caught Kerry Collins if the latter was leaving the stadium abruptly.

What the hell happened that made Young go all ape$ht? What a nutcase AND a dumbA$$.

Jim Wyatt of the Nashville Tennessean predicts that Vince Young will not play another snap as a Titan after engaging in a "verbal confrontation" with coach Jeff Fisher following Sunday's O.T. loss.

Citing team sources, Wyatt reports that Young told Fisher "I'm not running out on teammates, I'm running out on you." V.Y. was reportedly "throwing out expletives under his breath" in the locker room while Fisher attempted to address the team. After asking Young to quiet down, Fisher told an early-exiting Young to "not walk out on his teammates." Wyatt predicts that V.Y. will be placed on injured reserve. Due a $4.25 million roster bonus on top of an $8.5 million salary in the 2011 offseason, Young is as good as done in Tennessee

 Mr. Young, meet Mr. NFL Waiver Wire.

Did Young complain about the lunch buffet too?

obviously there is a lot of pent up frustration in a young that is in the closet. There's sometimes it's hard to tell how they will vent that... as was witnessed today.

...what?

Maybe. Or maybe Fishers the a-hole and Young needs a new start. I can believe that it's Fisher cuz he coaches his players to play dirty.

I don't care who he is or who he thinks he is. There's no excuse for sitting there like a punk and throw a fit while your coach, boss, parents or whoever your authority speaks or addresses your team or group. It's a group effort and he obviously is not a part of the group. This isn't his first incident of showing immaturity so I'm sure it's him just being who he is!! A punk!!

 Or maybe you're on LSD.

But it doesn't matter. Fisher talks tough now, but Young will not be axed for this and he'll probably be back next year like nothing happened. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised in the least if he was back yet this year, esp if Smith starts sucking eggs. Remember, this is the NFL, which forgives anything and everything if you produce. Just win baby.
