Look I'm over 50 and I can still appreciate what my kids listen to and this is a good thing for the event. It will appeal to the younger fans. I made a comment about this very fact yesterday to my son. It's designed to give the viewer a concert look but it defeats itself when they go into a wide shot, showing only a few hundred people lol. You know why it never matters regardless of who it is? The show nearly always sucks. Most everything about it sucks. The whole "greatest hits medley" bit sucks. The fact that it seems like they don't have monitors up there suck. The already mentioned screaming "fans" bit is also lame. Honestly, it's about the worst performance you are ever going to see from whomever it is. Besides, you need a chance to go outside and toss the pigskin and/or deal with the grill. I am about as uninterested in MMA as any sports fan you will find and I think this would be a huge upgrade. Mind you, it certainly wouldn't do much to bring in the "other" demographic.
