MTSuper7
The Seahawks play KC at home, and Hasselbeck looked surprisingly good on the road in New Orleans last week. With Mike Williams surely out, I think Obomanu has the right situation to close in on 15 points in a standard PPR league (20+ if he gets the score). Of course, I'm stuck with him in one league, but I'm actually rolling with him in a couple leagues as a WR3 over the likes of Malcom Floyd, Louis Murphy, and Santana Moss (if he plays). Maybe I'm overly optimistic, but I gambled on Seyi Ajirotutu in week 9 and it paid off. Of course, Philip Rivers is in a different class than Hasselbeck, but someone has to step up for Seattle, and I think it'll be Obomanu. Anyone else share my optimism or rolling with him because you're shorthanded?
Seahawk
I actually think it might be The Golden Child. Certainly he's the most talented and if you get points for special teams he's a bigger play. I do share your feelings about OBI espically in PPR leagues. I could see 7-8 catches 80 yards 30/70 chance of TD. This could be a big day for Mare seeing as they'll probably be able to move the ball but as all year they've had no running game so the red zone will yield lots of field goals. I havent seen KC play all year so dont know what to expect defensively but I've read there not tremendously good on the road, Edited November 27, 2010 by Seahawk
Grits and Shins
I picked him up in my dynasty league to start this week and keep for next year ... these are the WRs I'm stuck with starting: DeSean Jackson Brandon LaFells Ben Obomanu Jacoby Jones With these guys on the bench Steve Smith (NYG) Arrelious Benn Early Doucet Mohamed Massaquoi
bushwacked
I picked an upset last weekend for the Hawks against New Orleans and whiffed badly. But, that was Hasselbeck's 2nd game with 300+ yards passing, and if not for a BS roughing the passing penalty and inability to get TDs in the red zone, they would have beat the spread. Seahawk
All of this really is dependent upon Williams not playing. I agree, it's highly unlikely but this Williams is certainly not the Williams of the past so it will definatly come down to a game time decision.
