This performance puts the last nail in the coffin for one of my teams and severely dampens the fortunes of another.

Thankfully fantasy football is almost over and college hoops are here

Thanks this thread made my day  And I'd be feeling the same if I had drafted CJ.

I said it elsewhere but I so hope Fisher is sending a message, Adams gets rid of him, makes a brilliant hire like Wade Phillips, and Fisher goes to the Colts.

OK I'm dreaming. Just hope it's not to DAL. In fact I predict this WILL happen and perhaps even before the end of the year. But by spring for sure.

Yep.. I have an outside shot to keep my faint playoff hopes alive if the Cards D goes off but 0 from CJ was pretty much a dagger

I can see poor production for a RB if the other team is stacking the box badly (like they were yesterday) - but an utter lack of opportunities is a whole different matter. With Rusty Smith at QB, TEN's best chance to stay in the game was to shorten the game by developing the running game. Fisher never even gave the running game enough chances to develop.

I'd have to agree - there's got to be something deeper at work here. You can't help but think after the Vince Young debacle that there may have been some serious meetings between TEN management and Fisher regarding his future. I can only think this is Fisher giving management the finger and daring them to fire him (and then hoping they do fire him and the whole thing turns into a national dust up).

Fisher doesn't impress me as being that kind of coach, but no one here knows what has been said in recent weeks behind closed doors. We do know management was forcing Young down Fisher's throat and Fisher was not very happy about it.

How about DEN & TEN swap coaches?

I'm a CJ owner and having a game like this pop up doesn't upset me at all. If I have to suffer 1 or 2 games a year where he flops I'm fine by that because the rest of the time he is getting TDs and yardage.

Understood. I guess we were all spoiled by his seemingly endless monster games last season; once you are used to that kind of production games like this one become really hard to swallow

Ok, so CJ had the worst game ever two weeks ago. Then last weeks gets to a whole 53 yards on 13 carries. Now, they are on a short week at home against the colts. The best way to keep Manning off the field is to run the ball. BUT... can Tennessee do that anymore? What's everyone's confidence level in CJ this week. ASYS or wait until he shows you something? Any homer input is appreciated.
