myhousekey
I guess VJ got his game check and can now relax the rest of the evening. Somethings definitely fishy. Gates can barely run and is out there but VJ is immediately done for the night with a phantom calf injury after receiving 0 targets. Riffraff
The training staff have to agree that VJ can't play. They are the ones that advise the position coaches on whether or not a player can continue.

Also, if he was going to pretend to get hurt, wouldn't he just pretend he got hurt in practice? Why bother working at all?

Double Agent
VJax is done. I'm not dropping him yet but he won't even sniff my lineup until I see something significant. Guy is a first class POS.

I'm obviously just speculating. Just seems a little strange with all of the problems VJ has had with the Chargers and now he makes it about 30 seconds into a game before he's injured on a play he wasn't even involved in. I hope he's not faking but with the way he's acted this year I wouldn't put it past him. ETA: Just went back and watched the first 2 plays VJ was in for. Play 1 he blocked on a screen pass and appeared fine afterwards. Play 2 he appears to just run a go route (tv angle doesn't show his full route) and then he's shown jogging off the field after the play is over. tazinib1
I give up. All I needed was for Rivers to keep pace with Manning like he's done ALL FREAKEN YEAR!!!!!!!!!! Its getting harder and harder every year to go through the motions of setting up lineups when you are not involved in a playoff race. Chavez
Have to think Manning can only do so much with mirrors and duct tape. He finally reached the point where he can't make chicken salad out of this much chicken sh*t.

No, not at all, but there are still plenty of athletes around him that can catch enough dimes to win games, maybe even this one.
MustOfBeenDrunk
Now the Colts are panicking ,,, 4th & 4 only down by 12 pts in the 3rd quarter and they go for it

Where they were on the field, I thought going for it on a manageable 4th down was a smarter decision than taking 20 yards of field position.
