delfamdelfam
not good quality but is it a penalty, they showed it on CBS and Marino and Cowher both said it was a penalty and he should be fined. To me it looked like he just shoved him but they said he hit him with a forearm. He was also across the line of scrimmage so he's now a RB. piratesownninjas
Looked like a forearm to the head?
Bronco Billy
Plainly a forearm intentionally thrown at the head. Not sure how anyone sees it differently, it is so blatant. Just the type of play the NFL is trying to bar from the game - and rightfully so. Don't intentionally attack the head and don't use the helmet as a weapon. bpwallace49
He obviously threw a forearm at the back of his head unneccesarily.
budlitebrad
It wasn't a forearm to the head. He clearly shoved him down with 2 hands. He's just insanely strong and made it look like a forearm shiver in real time. Bad call, but it happens.... Usually in favor of the Bears.... TitansFan
That video doesn't give a good look at it. They replayed it 10+ times right after it happened and it was clearly a two-hand shove and nothing more. He never used his forearm, all he did was push him with two open palms. Furd
Watching it "live" (on TV) it looked like a forearm to the back of he head. Didn't look that way on replay. I don't think that you can fault the officials on it.

budlitebrad
Fined $15,000 by the league.

rajncajn
Fined $15,000 by the league. Can't blame the penalty due to the way it looks in real time, but the fine is just stupid.

Square
Plainly a forearm intentionally thrown at the head. Not sure how anyone sees it differently, it is so blatant. Just the type of play the NFL is trying to bar from the game - and rightfully so. Don't intentionally attack the head and don't use the helmet as a weapon. You're off on this one. In real time I can see the ref making the wrong call but I watched the game and during the slow mow replay you could see he had open palms and the hands/forearm didn't go anywhere passed the shoulder blade. Here is a better vid. Fast forward to 45 second or around the 1 min mark. Any defensive player is going to try to get a hard hit on a QB that is running passed the line of scrimmage as they are counted as a RB at that point. Suh's shouldn't have been flagged but I'll let that go because in real time it's tough. I'm a bears fan and think the fine is BS.

Qball86
Just the type of play the NFL is trying to bar from the game - and rightfully so. Don't intentionally attack the head and don't use the helmet as a weapon. This fine makes the fact there wasn't a flag thrown on Sunday night for the hit on MIller even more puzzling. CowboysDiehard
More like Suh-weet! That hit helped keep a 5-leg teaser I had going alive, and I cashed it in with the Falcons win during the next game. So, yeah, it was a legit call in my mind! Furd
Ndamukong should have ripped off Cutler's helmet and punched him in the head a couple of times. Only $10k more and perhaps some satisfaction that he got his money's worth.

MTSuper7
Penalty was wrong but an understandable missed call in real time, but the league is acting like Screech in the episode of Saved By The Bell when he becomes hall monitor and throws all his friends in detention because he has the power to do so.
