MustOfBeenDrunk
First overall though? No maybe not 1st overall but still solid with all the injuries to key players this year it didn't take a real solid roster as much as a healthy roster this year. If you had QB2's RB2's & WR2's that stayed healthy all year most did ok

keggerz
16 Team IDP Dynasty with salary cap 8-5 and got the Wild Card but didn't really deserve it...won a HTH tiebreaker with a team it beat by .20 earlier this year...the stickler is that the other team forgot to set their lineup or change it or something like that and they ended up having MJD and Clint Session on a bye in his lineup...if he plugged any of his bench players in for either player he would have won. Instead I got lucky and this 8-5 team makes the playoffs (Start 1QB, start 5 total RB/WR (at least 1 has to be a RB), 1TE, 1K, 2DL, 3LB, 2DB, 1Flex (DL or DB) Garrard/Palmer Bradshaw, Jacobs, Torain, Hightower, Ganther, Ware, Mason Ochocinco, Santana Moss, Steve Smith (Car), James Jones, Plaxico, Steve Johnson (was on my DTS until week 10 the week after I beat that team by .20) Brent Celek, Shawn Nelson, Dreessen(picked up wk 12) Barth, Gould Peppers, Mathis, Clemons, TBrown Vilma, Burnett, SCooper, Geno Hayes, Iwuh, Porter, Jordan Mikell, Winfield, Delmas, TPorter, Greer, Bowman, WMoore
delusions of grandeur
This one may be hard to beat, though it is a 16-team BoTH dynasty league with deep rosters, and not much available on the WW. Kind of embarassing to even post some of these names: QB- Ryan, Young, Anderson RB- Rice, B. Jackson, McGahee, D. Ward WR- Calvin, Crabtree, Royal, Douglas, Stuckey TE- Cooley, Heap, Nelson DEF- Ravens, Bengals Not much more help on the taxi squad either, where Golden Tate is by far the top prospect.. Lost Grant in week 1, and have ridden Calvin to 8-5, only slipping into the playoffs because literally every contender lost this week (including myself). With it being PPR however, flexing Royal, Jackson, Heap, and even McGahee when they were at their hottest made for a serviceable cast this season... Too bad I can't say the same for the playoffs. This team is likely doomed. (ETA: actually, keggers might even have me beat in this ) Edited December 7, 2010 by delusions of granduer

louisc9999
This team was 8-5, won the division, and 2nd seed (1st-round bye) in the league. It was TWO points from being the lowest-scoring team in the league but it just so happens that, on most weekends, my team sucked just a little bit less than my opponents. DWill was my #1 pick and Cutler was my QB until he got knocked out in the Giants game. After that, it's was musical QBs (and always the wrong one starting). Cassel Bradshaw Blount Miles Austin Garcon Tamme Cundiff Chargers Fitzpatrick, Malcom Floyd, Britt, James Jones, Ronnie Brown, Pierre Thomas, Gerhart
keggerz
Still very good match up playing on your part to even make the playoffs ,,, so when did you grab Plax ?? I grabbed him week 10 in another dynasty actually had him rostered when he was playing...was an RFA the year he went to jail and someone forced his salary to 1000 on me (I think)..I matched then ended up dropping him that season (last year I think) and reacquiring him a week or two later at a reduced salary of $1 (salary cap is $30K)...was a calculated risk that paid off...well that is to be determined actually...the salary cap really makes the league interesting..there are contracts too so if you cut a guy you get hit with penalties based on salary...here are some of the key guys with salary followed by contract years after the slash ...the salary cap also makes blind bidding cool...you can bid up to whatever you have available in salary cap...very cool league...oh and we have Franchise Tags and Transition tags too. Expensive guys: Palmer $2200/3 Jacobs $2339/2 Smitty $2732/3 Ochocinco $2500/4 SMoss $1900/3 Peppers $2066/4 Mathis $2050/3 Cooper $2385/3 Vilma $2263/1 Winfield $1768/1 Cheap guys: Garrard $26/3 (picked him up in waivers back before he overtook Leftwhich for the starting gig) Bradshaw $62/6 Danny Ware $2/4 Torain $1/5 (picked him up back in March, also picked up Huggins $1/5 (on IR) James Jones $8/7 (drafted his rookie year) Steve Johnson $1/10 (got him in a trade in May of 09 for a 2010 5th round pick) Mark Clayton $101/5 (on IR) Celek $2/4 (drafted his rookie year) Burnett $11/4 Geno Hayes $154/4 (was sooooo high on him...but he has been serviceable) Tracy Porter $2/5 Mikell $100/5 Delmas $125/5 WMoore $187/5 will be interesting if I decide to cut/trade some or most of those high dollar contracts and see what I can do in RFA. Gopher
This team has no business being in the playoffs... LB's and RB's in particular are brutal. I got the final wild card spot with a 7-6 record. 16-team IDP Dynasty league where six teams make the post-season. Players who rank in the top 30 scorers (for their position) in bold (with ranking in parentheses): QB - Cassel (10), Garrard (20), Troy Smith RB - Woodhead (27), Hightower, E. Graham, S. Morris, M. Morris, M. Hart WR - Steve Johnson (9), Fitzgerald (17), Meachem, Armstrong, McCluster, Murphy, Obomanu TE - Gresham (14), D. Thomas K - Folk (6), Mare (11) DL - Peppers(13), D. Edwards (IR), R. Edwards, Starks LB - Haggan, Phillips, Hunter, Spikes, Rivers, Ninkovich DB - T. Thomas (5), Mikell (13), Marshall (25), Phillips, DeCoud, E. Smith Best RB is the 27th highest scoring RB (Woodhead). Best LB is Haggan (33rd LB). I picked up both of those players through waivers. WR's and DB's are probably a little better than average, but QB, DL, and TE are nothing special, either. The other thing that is funny about this team is that I have two RB's on my taxi squad (Ivory and J. James) who each outscored all of the backs on my active roster last week (not to mention James Starks as well). Can't promote them, though, since I'm maxed out on years, and would only be able to assign them a year a piece (and then potentially lose them to free agency in the spring).
