Patrick Chung

Recommended Posts

I've noticed that since Chung has come back from his knee injury he's only playing a handful of plays a game. He still was managing to put up decent FF pts in my scoring system until his game on Monday night. If you are depending on Chung going into the playoffs you might want to grab another DB.

That isn't true. Chung returned in week 10 and from week 10-12 he played in approximately 60 snaps/game...It was week 13 where he only played in 26 snaps and around 80% of those snaps he played in coverage....

Here is an excerpt from the IDP GBs for this week:

Secondary: Of course we all know that Patrick Chung missed week 8 and 9 due to injury. He returned in week 10 and from week 10 thru week 12 he played on average around 60 snaps/game. Last week in what looked to be a prime matchup against the Jets all that Chung could muster up was 2 solo tackles, good for just 4 fantasy points. The thing is, for some unknown reason he only played in 26 snaps and of those snaps he was in coverage for about 80% of them. Considering we won't get anything out of New England about him he makes for a risky play this week. I know that Chung is the kind of player that is very hard to sit because he is the kind of player that is hard to rank lower than 3 stars. Proceed with caution is about all I can say.
