disconcertin signals?

On Thursday Night Football, Anthony Johnson of the Colts was called for "disconcerting signals". What the heck is that? Supposedly it was for barking out signals trying to get the other team to false start. I've seen that penalty before, but I'm pretty sure it was called as a "delay of game". Never heard of "disconcerting signals".

 

I saw a funny quote online yesterday:

 

"What exactly made the signals "disconcerting"? Instead of yelling snap counts to confuse the offensive line, was Johnson yelling things like, "by the time we're 60, there won't be any social security!"?

 

 

In two weeks, the Colts have been called for "leaping", an "illegal bat", and "disconcerting signals".

That's disconcerting.

 

The Colts aren't going anywhere this season. Too many injuries and the interior of their O-line has been exposed as being very weak. They may actually have to go into rebuilding mode next season to repair the O-line and the D. The nice thing about being a Colts' fan - like it used to be with being a DEN fan - is that rebuilding still means a .500 record give or take.
