CaptainHook
Now I can worry about Brady and the weather in CHI. it looks NASTY in Chicago. They were shoveling snow off the tarp in the live look-in on ESPN...
Chief Dick
I think ESPN needs to show a couple of more senseless shots of the workers cleaning the snow off the Metrodome roof.

On the plus side, I have until 3:15 and Eli is my backup so I could bench Brady.

Methinks they will be there a while...
Jackass
kind of curious - does anyone know this would affect a bet on the game? point spread's got to change now that it's no longer a home game for Minny. if you put money on minny you're kinda shafted
giantsfan
Told you it would be Monday. No way they'd make them play Tuesday or Wednesday.

Presuming you are using a "reputable" sportsbook or agent.

Delicious_bass
Holy chit! Just heard of this and saw the video now as I have been out helping my snowblower-less neigbors get their driveways cleared all morning. Thank goodness the game was being postponed, anyways, and it happened around 5am. Can you imagine if that came down when the place was filling/filled for a game? Â Wonder what that means for the rest of this season and beyond? I cant imagine they're going to be able to get that roof fixed up anytime soon. Vikes are trying like hell to get out of that toilet, anyways, and I cant imagine anyone is going to want to foot the bill for fixing that up. The remaining home games could probably get moved to TCF Bank stadium if necessary but not sure how that works ticket-wise/concession-wise/etc... STL Fan
Â that was cool. Â Loved the comment: "It looked like James Cameron directed that."
BillyBalata
2nd time they showed it, you can see someone in a cart, or a Gator racing down the sidelines for the exit as the snow starts to break thru.
STL Fan
Cuts the wires and get rid of the tarp and play that bad boy as an open-air stadium!
gilthorp
The Minnesota fans are pathetic for not showing up and supporting the Vikes by clearing the roof all night!

Ursa Majoris
Gopher stadium only seats 50,000. Last time this happened, the Dome was back up quite quickly.
