The Irish Doggy
What an inspiration. While there is truth to the ownership criticisms, he's still a butt head.
Hugh 0ne
Seems pretty reasonable to me, even takes some accountability himself.
BearBroncos
He's right, however. Now regarding DeSean interview on their show.... I'm thinking Djax is progressively becoming one of those players I'm noting going to like... His arrogance will over shadow is talent, at least it is appearing he's taking that path... I hope I'm wrong.

Caveman_Nick
Said Ochocinco: “Well from my standpoint I’m not sure why we’re 2-11 this year but the thing with me is I’ve become numb to the situations of losing. Being as though I’ve lost for such a long time that I have not been able to point the finger on what it really is. I’ve only had two winning seasons in a 10-year span. I don’t know what it is. All I know what to do is go out and play the game of football. The ins and outs of why things are not successful, I think I’ve missed that bus.” This says it all. The Bengals are just numb to losing. kpholmes
Don't think there is anything at all wrong with what T.O. said. The team is 2-11. YES there are problems from the top down. Saw this banter between T.O. and ProFootballTalk on Twitter and found it very amusing: ProFootballTalk T.O. places blame on Bengals owner, coaches http://wp.me/p14QSB-pk7 Terrell Owens @ProFootballTalk i put blame on every1!! i said frm the top-down!!! spin it how u want, i'm used 2 it! u guys r jerks! @ProFootballTalk I'll continue 2 b real & honest. I'm secure about what I say, glad i could help ur blog w/ur headlines. U guys r ridiculous ProFootballTalk @terrellowens . . . We based our report on the AP story, which focuses on blame placed on owners and coaches. @terrellowens . . . For the record, we disagree w/some things you say, but you've had a very good year and are one of the all-time greats. Then T.O. retweeted a bunch of his fans and a few other players ripping PFT for their crappy journalism. ProFootballTalk Read the full quotes -- @terrellowens blames owner, coaches, players, then tries to put blame on players back on coaches. PFT then tried to recant their statement by adding this update to their article: UPDATE: In fairness to T.O., he says via Twitter that he placed blame not only on the owner and the coaches. “i put blame on every1!! i said frm the top-down!!! spin it how u want, i’m used 2 it! u guys r jerks!” The P.R. firm that sends us weekly previews of the show didn’t send this specific clip, so our item was based on an AP summary that focuses more narrowly on the blame placed on the owner and the coaches. Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer has a broader account in which Owens blames the owner, coaches, and players, but explains that “we have to go out there and play the game but in order for us to do what we’re allowed to do at the best of our ability the coaches have to put the players in the best position.” So, basically, there goes my shot at getting a Christmas card from T.O. Either way, he did place blame the owner and the coaches, and he tried to lay much of the blame on the players back on the coaches. Scorcher
I agree. I also found what he did right before he got into the endzone to be obnoxious Also in the post game interview with Vick and Jackson he (Jackson) acted like a total jerk. Jackson needs PR lessons. That's far too much losing for it not to be systemic. And Brown has been a laughing stock forever. This is hardly news. This is all about people assuming that, every time TO opens his mouth, he's throwing someone under the bus.
delusions of grandeur
I hate PFT. + a million, especially Mike Florio. UPDATE: In fairness to T.O., he says via Twitter that he placed blame not only on the owner and the coaches. I can't even count how many bunk headlines, purely designed to get you to click on some nonsense story, I read before just giving up on them.... That site is nothing but a well-marketed joke. Menudo
Owens has been a jackass off the field in the past. This is not an example of this. I see nothing wrong with the things he is saying. I have gained a lot of respect for the way that guy performs on the field. In the Steelers first game against the Bengals, Ochocinco flat out quit, and even walked off the field. While they were losing big-time, T.O. was still out there going 100%, making plays and attempting to motivate his teammates. On the field, this guy is a warrior who wants to win. I respect that. As DJax, every time I've seen him interviewed, he has come across as an arrogant jerk. The guy is phenomenally talent, so, it is a shame that he can't be more humble. Don't get me wrong, he is not the only one in the NFL that acts this way, each team has their bad apples.
MustOfBeenDrunk
TO was just giving an honest assessment of what he sees going on this year on the team he is playing for ,,, nothing wrong with that
detlef
Here's what I don't get about DJax or the fact that the Eagles aren't fining the hell out of him. I mean, I've seen twice now where he robbed his team of TD with these stunts. I mean, act like a freaking clown if you want once you actually score. But you'd think the first time you took it far enough that it actually took points off the board, you'd check yourself.

It wasn't a TD because he was show boating and dropped the ball before he entered the end zone... GOD I was pissed at him then... He was a keeper on my keeper league and I opted towards the beginning of the season to trade him. I just don't like where his arrogant attitude is taking him. The Irish Doggy
If he came out and took responsibility for the INTs he directly caused by not running the right routes and being aggressive enough, I'd be impressed. I read this as him blaming everyone else first and himself last. His statement of accountability is barely a footnote.

doing_it_live
I remember when Owens was with the Cowboys + 49ers I always knew he was a great player but he just cared about himself and no one else. I picked him up this year because I knew he had to change from "I love me so me" to "I love this team' if he ever wants to have any chance of playing after this season in the NFL, and I know he loves this game. Just like Vick kinda, He had to go through a lot of self inflicting destruction to finally realize what he was doing to everyone around him. Look at him now players go up to him after games asking for autographs and people in general have a lot of respect for guy less than 4 months ago was just a washed up QB that is cruel to animals and only cares about himself. People need to understand that what you did in the past is in the past and anyone can change. This crazy season shows that anything can happen. whomper
Against just about any other team, I'd agree. Against Dallas in Dallas...it was a thing of beauty! Him getting his tits lit by Dunta Robinson was a thing of beauty too. He is as talented as they come but a showboating fool that has hurt his team on the field with his antics. colossals
I've watched TO quit in several games this year. Serious alligator arms. You can do that, but I think you give up the option of critiquing from top to bottom. He didn't get coached up enough during the week? Give me a break. gilthorp
I find Ocho's comments to be very interesting. That's a pretty honest statement to say he's oblivious to what it takes to win and have success. The fact he's numb to it makes it very bold, as there's zero heart involved then. It's time to face it, Marvin Lewis is a very good D Coordinator.
lennykravitz2004
IMHO, TO is reaping what he's sown. Of course people are immediately going to jump his S^!t. What precedence has he set for himself? I know I know... guilty until proven innocent, right? But that's the bed he's made his entire career. It's going to take awhile for some people (me at least) to change my opinion of comments he makes, and what ulterior motive he has behind them. Million dollar talent, 10 cent personality.
