JUMbotron
Wow, Bob Gretz (Chiefs insider) said earlier: 10:07 a.m. – Matt Cassel makes his first appearance on the field. Right now he’s doing some light tossing to warm up and he’s not joined the pre-pre-game passing routine just yet. He’s wearing a wrap around his lower torso, the same one he was wearing during practice this past week. He’s now stopped to chat up backup Rams QB A.J. Feeley. 10:13 a.m. – Matt Cassel is NOT taking part in the throwing session, a pretty good indication that he’s going to be designated inactive today, probably as the No. 3 quarterback. It’s hard to believe that Cassel would be playing if he’s not throwing in this session. Right now, he’s standing behind Brodie Croyle and Tyler Palko and watching them throw. http://www.bobgretz.com/
JUMbotron
Hmmm http://twitter.com/NFL_FantasyNews Chiefs QB Matt Cassel still not cleared to start yet. As one observer in Dome just texted, "Warmups weren't pretty." #??? 3 minutes ago via web
JUMbotron
10:37 CT It's possible the Chiefs keep Cassel active as a backup quarterback in the instance something happens to QB Brodie Croyle. It's also possible Cassel is active and will be the starter. We'll find that out at noon when the game starts. http://www.arrowheadpride.com/2010/12/19/1...-chiefs-vs-rams

Chief Dick
Bye-Bye playoffs. Chiefs had a good season going too. Lots of progress this year though.
buddahj
ESPN is reporting that Cassel will be starting.
JUMbotron
This is ridiculous. Mick Shaffer - Sports anchor at Metro Sports in Kansas City http://twitter.com/mickshaffer Matt Cassel has been on the field warming. A couple sources reporting he'll start. But Chiefs are saying that's premature. 6 minutes ago via Twitter for BlackBerry® Cassel is active for St. Louis. Doesn't necessarily mean starting, though. #chiefs 29 minutes ago via Twitter for BlackBerry®

Chief Dick
For fantasy reasons, if it's me, I don't start him. Too much risk.
buddahj
For fantasy reasons, if it's me, I don't start him. Too much risk. If he doesn't start...does that make Bowe benchable?
ts
On tv, the CBS pre-game is showing that Cassel will be starting ... this from the player tracker thing they have scrolling across the bottom of the screen. splotchman
Holy moly, this is causing me pain...Bowe and Charles owner... I think I'm gonna let Bowe rip...other choice is Wallace and don't like his upside either against the Jets...
billay
Glad to hear he's starting, but still tentative. But then why start him unless you believe he's capable of making through the game? Edited December 19, 2010 by billay
Chief Dick
If he doesn't start...does that make Bowe benchable? I would think so.
vansmack32
I'm in a two-qb league, so I have to start casual or Croyle. This sucks.
