historymike
Thanks, Huddlers: I was trying to use him as a sneaky play against a Houston defense that gives up a lot of TE scores. Had to go back to (gack) Celek.
keggerz
I have Jared Cook (1.5 PPR) and thinking hard about starting him over Torain who I currently have in (other options Best, Benson) but not sure I can take the risk of starting Cook ...he could see 50+ snaps but then again maybe only 16ish again. Ursa Majoris
It's a Coaches Decision. Anyone know what Scaife did to get himself in the doghouse?
weebo
he's in the Vince Young camp in the locker room
loaf
the ESPN fantasy show was touting him as a good play...just 5 minutes ago
Unbelievable
LOL.... ESPN was really talking up Brandon Marshall and had almost convinced me to start him over Bowe....then they recommended Scaife.... Idiots. I'm going with Bowe. zekez
Thanks to the Huddlers for reporting this!! fantasy Football Now was still recommending him as a good start at 11:55. Switched him for Cook, crossing my fingers now.
historymike
Thanks to the Huddlers for reporting this!! fantasy Football Now was still recommending him as a good start at 11:55. Switched him for Cook, crossing my fingers now. Repeat kudos - there was no information indicating Scaife was anything but a solid start until The Huddle kept me posted. This alone is enough to justify the subscription I plan to buy for 2011 and beyond (no, not a shameless plug).
zekez
So what's going on with Scaife? Is he still out for this week? What happened last week?
JUMbotron
I think Fisher is going to sit him again. He's had the dropsies, plus they want an extended look at Jared Cook. In addition, the Titans roster is a tough squeeze because they activate so many defensive linemen (it's the reason LeGarrette Blount got pinched in preseason). Scaife's season is probably over. jbran23
But didnt he just come off a 2 TD game the week before Fisher decided to sit him out of the blue? Something doesnt add up here.
JUMbotron
Nothing adds up in Tennessee these days. Even if Scaife is squeezed back into the active roster, Jared Cook's gonna play a lot of snaps the last two games. Jeff Fisher on Jared Cook last Sunday: "He ran around and made some plays, some tough catches. He made two first-down catches for us. He was getting open," Fisher said. "He wasn't the primary target on a number of instances, but he battled. He's blocking better. He finished blocks. You saw him block (Texans linebacker Brian) Cushing across the field. He did a nice job of what we asked him to do."
