Ross Tucker: Doppelgänger of Patrick Star?

I was listening to the Jets-Steelers game on ESPN radio yesterday, and I swore that Patrick Star from SpongeBob Squarepants was one of the game commentators. It turns out that it was actually Ross Tucker; this clip gives a sense of the similarities in vocal mannerisms, but on the radio yesterday I kept waiting for commentary like this:

 

"Gee, SpongeBob, forget the football game: I can't see my forehead."

 

Now, Ross Tucker certainly offered some insightful commentary, but that voice? Almost a dead ringer for Patrick Star (here is a
