dmonkey
Seriously, what is wrong with him, i would have been fine with the 2 int's but then another, and then another. Why dont you just run out the clock. I really ope that that list int isnt the reason i lose my championship. Im down 17.9 in my ppr league with matt bryant and jeremy maclin still to go. any encouraging replies are appreciated Hope everyone had a good xmas
ts
This may not be the "encouraging reply" you were seeking, but ... bottom line is that Eli historically starts strong & finishes weak ... a few career passing stats from the pro-football-reference.com site, "career" being fron Eli's rookie season thru the start of this year: - Comp% >>> Sep/Oct >> 61.5 / 57.5 ... Nov/Dec >> 57.9 / 55.0 - TDs >>> Sep/Oct >> 34 / 41 ... Nov/Dec >> 35 / 31 - INTs >>> Sep/Oct >> 20 / 23 ... Nov/Dec >> 32 / 24 - A/YA >>> Sep/Oct >> 7.23 / 6.51 ... Nov/Dec >> 5.77 / 5.80 - QB Rating >>> Sep/Oct >> 89.6 / 83.9 ... Nov/Dec >> 76.0 / 74.8 ... as you can see, pretty much every significant stat trends downward as the season progresses ... particularly telling I think is the negative progression of Eli's QB rating as the months roll along. Maybe it's Eli, maybe it's the weather, maybe it's because he is a 'system' QB on a team that traditionally favors the run, maybe circumstances force him to pass at season's end when he's not comfortable doing so, whatever ... but Nov/Dec are customarily not strong months for him. boltnlava
His problem is that he's not Peyton. One lucky throw does not make you great. SB or not.
