untateve
That is just wrong on so many levels. Just seeing that joker on TV makes me ill. I agree! Why couldn't the Lions' organization have given Millen a chance to succeed?
Square
I agree! Why couldn't the Lions' organization have given Millen a chance to succeed? More Seriously though... All those Millen teams needed was to draft a good WR and they would've had it made!
bpwallace49
If the Lions improve their secondary they could be very solid next year. Plus some real depth at WR. Their D-line was great this year, and LB was average (I know Levy was hurt quite a bit) The cornerbacks and safeties need to be better agains the pass, bottom line. Scooby's Hubby
I say remove. Scooby and I draftd their Defense in one league and it paid off early. Plus, we got off to a good start with Best and I won my homer and had Calvin AND Best. If Stafford could just stay healthy I say it makes the North a strong division. Chavez
That is just wrong on so many levels. Just seeing that joker on TV makes me ill. I don't get how he gets a tv job after that Detroit debacle....even granting that he DOES know more football than probably 90% or better of NFL fans, how can he have any credibility? "Hey, isn't that the guy who built the 0-16 team? Hell, I could GM a team to 0-16."
Furd
I say remove. Scooby and I draftd their Defense in one league and it paid off early. Plus, we got off to a good start with Best and I won my homer and had Calvin AND Best. If Stafford could just stay healthy I say it makes the North a strong division. You know, I hadn't considered that. I must re-evaluate: Get rid of the bag The Lions defense "paid off early" for 2 people in a fantasy football league. Best and Calvin Johnson were on someone's fantasy championship team. If Stafford can stay healthy, the NFC North is strong divison The Lions won four games in a row in the 2010 season raising their record to a whopping 6-10 Keep the bag The Lions have never been to the Super Bowl The Lions have not won the league championship in 53 years The Lions have one playoff victory in my lifetime (44 years) The Lions haven't had a winning record since 2000 (when they were 9-7) The Lions are the only team in the history of the NFL to go 0-16 The Lions haven't had a Pro Bowl QB since Greg Landry in 1972 The Lions hired Matt Millen, the worst executive in the history of the NFL. Record during 8 year tenure = 31-97 The Lions gave Millen a contract extension during that run. The Lions drafts, until just recently, were the object of mockery (a WR with their first pick in 3 consective year, among other things) and left the cupboard bare for years. This year, the Lions rushed out a defensive tackle, without any warmup when timeouts were available, to kick, and miss, a crucial extra point which led to overtime and a loss. There's more, if I had time. Results of further contemplation: Edited January 5, 2011 by Furd
