whomper
The LSU WR's thread got me thinking. Name, in your opinion, the top 5-10 best pro football players that have come from your favorite college team. edit to add: This list is , Of all time, not just active pros. Again, the list is your opinion Edited January 10, 2011 by whomper

detlef
It's funny, I love college ball but it really dawned on me that I don't have a team when I tried to answer this. When I was a kid, I was a huge UW Huskies fan but that sort of fizzled out over the years. Now I probably pay more attention to the college game than I even do to the pro game but still don't actually have a team that I specifically pull for. I have a favorite team in every sport but really only follow Football and Baseball in a diehard way. I love Joe Pa, live a few hours away and had a friend play LB for them when I was in High School so I threw my "support " behind Penn State. Square
All time? I can name some that are currently playing that are pretty good and I still cheer for but I don't think I could do a real best of all time list justice right now. Current Nebraska grads that I cheer for (and I believe all these guys are still playing) off the top of my head: Suh - Det Kyle Vanden bosch - Det Dominic Raiola - Det Stewart Bradley - Phi Scott Shanle - NO Buckhalter - Denver Carriker - Wash Barrett Ruud -Tampa Chris Kelsay - Buf Russ Hochstein - Den Fabian Washington - Balt Z. Bowman - Chi Good players that retired in recent years but I thought were studs when healthy: Grant Wistrom - Rams/Seattle Mike Brown - Bears/Chiefs Ahman Green - Packers Edited January 10, 2011 by Square

I know here's a few more there somewhere. Liked A-train better in college than the pro's. Forget the guys name, never made it a wr, but was an excellent returner. Edited to add Avant, Breaston, and Braylon as well, larry Foote was another fav I hoped we'd draft. Grbac was ok.
