Superbowl MVP odds

I would have to think that "IF" the Jets were to win it Revis would of played a big part

What other Def. players if any do you guys think may have a shot at MVP from any of the teams if they win it ?

Or is it just too geared towards Offense players that it would matter ?

It does seem ( unfairly IMO ) that it's almost a given that the winning QB will get it

Aaron Rodgers (Packers)

+150

Ben Roethlisberger (Steelers)

+200

Rashard Mendenhall (Steelers)

+500

Jay Cutler (Bears)

+500

Mark Sanchez (Jets)

+500

Matt Forte (Bears)

+800

Greg Jennings (Packers)

+1200

Santonio Holmes (Jets)

+1200

Braylon Edwards (Jets)

+1500

James Starks (Packers)

+1500

Greg Olsen (Bears)

+1500

Hines Ward (Steelers)

+1500

LaDainian Tomlinson (Jets)

+1800

Brian Urlacher (Bears)

+3000

For GB: Woodson, Williams or Matthews

What a story Woodson would make ,, from Hiesman Trophy winner to # 4 overall pick in the 1st round to Rookie of the year to the pro bowl then to a career I thought was all but done when he left Oakland to Super Bowl MVP

I don't see anyone but Troy Polamalu making the type of plays that would lead to a defensive player being awarded the MVP. In the absence of takeaways, to grab an MVP, a defensive guy is going to need: 1) a sh*tload of tackles and sacks; and 2) a lack of a noteworthy offensive performance.

Revis isn't going to see enough action to be able to do anything to merit.

Matthews and Woodson both fit the bill. It won't matter though, if Green Bay wins it the MVP will be Rodgers.

it indeed looks like it will come down to a QB or a not listed player from this list offered before the play of the title games
