Looks nice.  the 10x zoom w/ wide angle is sweet. Make sure you stock her up w/ memory cards (I prefer several smaller ones, 2-4Gb vs the 8-16Gb), a nice pouch, extra battery, and maybe a small HD to backup the photos assuming she'll have a computer.  If not...more cards!  LOL
Amazon is pretty competitive in their pricing and their delivery is almost always on time or even early.
Good luck to your daughter.

Thanks for the tips RR, those are great ideas  i'm sure from your experiences, she kept bringing up Panoramic alot  and the wife just said make sure it's Panoramic. Doesn't surprise me that she did her research and came up with a good one, i thought i was gonna be lookin at 4 or 5 hundred.

that's a good camera.  price has come down significantly since sony released some newer more high-end point-and-shoots.

This reminds me of a story a client told me.  They were at the dentist in a small rural GA town and she mentioned to the hygenist that they were going to the Holy Land.  Hygenist replies, "That's in Florida right?"
