Sporting News Exec of the Year

please tell me we are not going to have to listen to this robbery BS with packers all offseason about something. You won the title, enjoy it.

Damn, some of you Penny Laneers are never satisfied about anything.

Atlanta came from the one of the worst team in the league a few short years, with their QB kicked out of the league and their coach quitting during the middle of a disasterous season to the #1 seed in the NFC this yr. Pretty amazing really.

At the same point GB had a home playoff game in the NFC Champ game against NYG.

Not everything revolves around the smallest market in the country.

Too bad they could'nt win there vs. Dallas when it counted huh? I'm also curious with the Ted love from you. IIRC, you had a sig that read " Ted is my leader" or something along those lines. Then when they were'nt doing so well you took it down. Now that they went on a run you're in love with him again. What's up with that?

In the metroplex you live in you freaking tool....

Yes, I live within an hour or so of the Stadium. What difference does that make again? And you live in Texas, but you hate UT, so aren't you a fool as well? Just remember, you got all bent out of shape at the suggestion of Ted Thompson being the Exec of the year.

I had the Ted Thompson is my leader sig up until I found the Aaron Rodgers quote that I have up right now, out of anger towards Favre. Make no mistake, my mancrush on Ted Thompson has never waivered. I lost confidence in McCarthy at times, but never Thompson. Go find my threads with Mr. Hammock and Ed. So there is nothing up with that, as it's not reality.

And Aaron Rodgers is 2-0 against Dallas. The Brett Favre led Packers absolutely crapped the bed in Dallas though. Congrats, you're now caught up in Sgt Ryans whirlpool of stupidity.

Every Aggie, TCU, Baylor, Tech, SMU, Houston, or any other school hates UT as well. Whats your point. I never trashed the state, as if OU spewed on it while they were here, like you did. You freaking idiot.

I swear I should know better than argue with you. You try and bring me down to your level of stupidity and beat me with experience.

Since you obviously lied about adding me to your ignore list, Ill just add you to mine and throw you away like yesterdays garbage.

8th time is a charm? I'm sure you'll send me a pm telling me that you know where I live and other creepy stuff that you've tried to do before. And I know you've already clicked the "view this post" button.

And where did I trash the state? Oh, its Sgt Ryan on his fifth alias making crap up again. Why DMD didn't out and out ban your IP is beyond me, but I would imagine that you have probably turned a fair share of people away from the huddle, and will continue to do so.

Gimme a break. In games that mattered GB could'nt carry Dallas' jock in Dallas. Yes I know Dallas has been putrid as of late..

you're the one that posted "GB won on Dallas' turf". What does the Super Bowl being played in Dallas have to do with anything?

Uh... I said that Favre led Packers was horrid in Dallas, so I'm not sure why you're trying to make the same point again. I know that the packers have been bad over the past 20 years in Dallas. It's also a fact that Rodgers is 2-0 against Dallas, and looked pretty good in Dallas a few years back.

And the comment about Green Bay winning in the cowboys house was directed at Ryan, since he's so bitter about everything Green Bay. It's not a shot at cowboy fans, just him. I still love you HBTC.

I thought the majority of people in Texas were downright delightful.

Now Oklahoma on the other hand . . . that place SUCKS.

Most of us are, but there are tools everywhere as you see from the resident Packer fan who seems to piss everyone off.

And the only thing worth mentioning in the whole state is the Univerity of Oklahoma. And 90% of those boys playing for Bobby Stoops are Texans. Im just rooting for those.

 Sgt Ryan,

If you could only imagine the amount of PMs I get from longtime huddlers that give me insight into you madness. Lets not act like you speak for the masses. You try to be an ass to everyone. I'm just strongly opinionated. I don't try to get under everyone's skin.

i cant disagree too much with the vote. he did a great job rebuilding a team that was as low as you can go, whereas the Packers were in deent (not great, but decent) shape when TT took over.

TT is deserving of votes, and I hope he wins next year, but the Falcons ended up the #1 seed for the NFC in a division with the defensing champs and a very solid Tampa Team. And they BEAT the Packers.

Not sure the playoffs are really factored into most of these votes. Brady had one of the best statistical season ever, going how many games without an INT, and he was horrible in the playoffs, 1 and done.

Trust me I wish we had a GM in Dallas that listened to scouts and took the best player available every time with every pick. Seems those teams who do, are playing when it matters. And teams like my Cowboys and Bengals, dont.....

Great for him but I'm not sure how Mark Dominik (Bucs GM) was 3rd in the voting? 4th round pick of Mike Williams, undrafted pickup of Blount, 10 rookies starting at one point AND the satisfaction that Josh Freeman is now a franchise quarterback with a ton of young firepower. All of this while having the youngest team in the NFL with one of the lowest payrolls.

Thomas Dmitroff, enjoy your time in the sun because the Bucs are going to ruin your team next season......

I assume it is regular season, and thus why being the #1 seed equals the vote. I assume that like the other awards, it allll regular season based.

Yeah th Packers thumped them in the playoffs, but the beat them in the regular season. And that what counts for this award.
