Hey Nick, its weird people are assuming Clayton is automatically coming back, but he isn't signed yet right? And with all the coaches/staff in Indy what are the chances he gets a contract in the 7 days before the CBA expires?

Nick's Mailbag, Stlouisrams.com

He is not signed but even if he's not signed by the time of a potential lockout, he'll still be a priority to get done afterward. Don't fret much on this. The sides are pretty close.

The Rams have fans??

Why I aughta...

What is it about the water in Indy anyway? Didn't the IND kicker get sauced up and found bathing in the river or something?

INDIANAPOLIS • The Marion County Prosecutor's office has filed a misdemeanor charge of public nudity against Rams scout Luke Driscoll.

Driscoll, 33, was arrested early Friday morning for public intoxication and public nudity. The prosecutor's office did not file a charge for public intoxication.

According to Kendale Adams, public information officer for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, misdemeanor public nudity is punishable by no more than 60 days in jail and up to a $500 fine. Driscoll also could be subject to discipline under the NFL's personal conduct policy.

Driscoll, part of the Rams' contingent working at the NFL scouting combine, was arrested at 3:20 a.m. in downtown Indianapolis. According to the police report, he was "found to be urinating on a building and found to be intoxicated."

Driscoll spent Friday night in jail and was released on his own recognizance Saturday. He was back working at the combine Saturday.

General manager Billy Devaney said through a spokesman that the Rams are investigating the matter. The team declined further comment.

The Rams will have a very good WR group next year, good enough that I don't think any will be worth too much FF-wise, but Bradford will approach top 5.

you are incredibly stupid

WTH, really??? And you think he won't? ROFL, Bradford is something special.... A QB this league hasn't seen since the class of 82 or even could be classed in the Young catagory! If you think otherwise, then it's you that is incredibly stupid!

Um, yeh. He performed like some of the better QB's currently out there, in his rookie year. Just imagine another year under his belt with a healthy receiving core. He ranked 12th in the NFL over all. Not bad for a rookie with no receivers or TE's! He threw for 3,500+ yards and considering the circumstances, a passer rating of 76.5 isn't all that bad.

And yet somehow I can't put him on the same shelf as Steve Young at this time.

I'm all over the Bradford wagon, but this is way, way optimistic. He looks good, maybe even special, but it's been one year, and his WR corp is far from very good.

Now if they draft Julio Jones in April...

Mark Clayton back healthy, Donny Avery back healthy, a young stud in Alexander and Gibson and Amendola did fairly well with the starting gigs, wouldn't you think?

I also think their receiving core is pretty strong and with another year under Bradford to hopefully put the ball in a better position to prevent more injuries, they all could have a productive year. Who's going to be the #1??? Who knows...
