jetsfan
Another top safety out on the open market. Thoughts on where he'll go? he was a beast here last year. Free-agent S Bernard Pollard said the Houston Texans told him he did not fit in new defensive coordinator Wade Phillips' 3-4 defensive alignment, reports John McClain, of The Houston Chronicle. Pollard led the team with 112 tackles last season. "I wasn't in their plans, and it's time to move on. And that's fine," Pollard said. Seahawks21
I'm not sure I'd call Pollard a top safety. He was a step late in the passing game all season long from what I watched and have heard.
kpholmes
This makes sense - Wade isn't used to playing with talented safeties.
CaptainHook
The guy had some serious attitude problems at Purdue. Kansas City has let him go. The Texans have let him go. Even after putting up decent numbers. I have a feeling it has little to do with "not fitting in their plans."

Seems like a perfect fit for Dallas then.
BearBroncos
This makes sense - Wade isn't used to playing with talented safeties. Let's see... searching.... searching... oh, here it is... Lets see where Houston was against the pass in 2010... hmm... "page down", "page down" .... Oh, here it is.... 32nd worst team in 2010.... I think Wade probably can do without that kind of talent. This. Pollard puts up numbers, and is a fine FF safety, but on the field, there is a reason he keeps getting released by NFL teams. He is a liabilty, a big liability. He can't cover for CHIT. He gives up more big pass plays when he is supposed to be offerering inside downfield coverage than maybe any safety in the NFL. He is a hitter, and good in run sopport, but he has a hugh hole in his game. He can't cover a worm hole with a blanket.
