Sox
I'll bet McGlover knew of the sexual favors he received during his Ohio State visit. Auburn allegations According to the Dispatch article,he went to a party with several players, one of whom was Chris Gamble, and was told to select any girl he wanted. theprofessor
Auburn should have the NC taken away within the year. If anyone doesn't think Cam got paid, handsomely, their fools. Were starting to see why the Share Extra Cash has been so strong the last few years. Cheating runs rampant in the SEC. The NCAA is a joke. They know this is happening yet they put their blinders on. theprofessor
Hey, husky, you checked out the USC Neuheisel Oregon allegations Certainly have, but nothing comes close to the blatant cheating that has apparently been going on in the SEC. So Reggie getting paid, his family getting a house, etc... is "nothing", ok...

SEC=UGA
and dealt with accordingly.... Not saying it wasn't. Just to sit back and fling feces at the wall when the power house of the PAC 10 has been embroiled in scandals for the better part of a decade seems somewhat disingenuous. All college football is dirty. All of the best teams in the country cheat, OSU, USC, Texas, Auburn, Bama, UF, LSU, Oregon(I guess they need to be included because they were in the NC last year)... none of them are above it. Does the SEC cheat any more than these other conferences, I highly doubt it. The theory, I guess so it goes, is if your team or conference is phenomenal, then you must be cheating. If you look at where every scout believes the best players come from, FL, GA, TX, CA, OH... it is no coincidence that schools within these states, or schools that draw a bulk of their players from these states, are going to have better teams. It is no coincidence that the SEC is a great league, we grow the best highschool football players outside of CA. What is funny to me, however, is that a team like Oregon can manage to pull recruits away from other areas, not having been a traditional powerhouse and it being Oregon, and not have people questioning how they rose to prominence relatively quickly. Are there incentives being lobbed toward GA and FL kids from Bama and Auburn to pull them away from their state teams, probably. Does UGA toss around incentives to get a QB out of TX, a Receiver out of SC, or a stud RB out of NJ... I'm pretty certain of it. But, it is no more than any other team or conference does. Is it right, I don't think so. But, what's good for the goose, in this case.

theprofessor
So Reggie getting paid, his family getting a house, etc... is "nothing", ok... Until the NCAA punishes the teams (plural) for the obvious cheating that has been going on in the SEC this conference will continue to live under this cloud of shame. With all the players that have come forward to talk about the rampant cheating I'm sure this will be an easy case to investigate and rule on.
