Nate Irving (LB - DEN): With the Broncos apparently now committed to running a 4-3 set, Irving will have a shot at their MLB spot. 3. Colin McCarthy (LB - TEN): Linebackers are still the most consistent IDP scorers, and you have one here that will be given a shot at a highly-productive spot. 4. Greg Jones (LB - NYG): See above. 5. Robert Quinn (DE - STL): With Bowers' knee concerns, Quinn is by far the best DL in this class. 6. Von Miller (LB - DEN): Assuming these rankings are for dynasty purposes, his ceiling is just too high to ignore. It may take a couple years but it could be worth the wait. 7. Bruce Carter (LB - DAL): Apparently an heir apparent to one of the inside spots in Dallas' 3-4. 8. Jabaal Sheard (DE - CLE): The elbow still gives me a minor pause, but has potential and will have an opportunity. 9. Patrick Peterson (CB - ARI): DB is typically as deep as the Marinara Trench but Peterson's a beast who'll also help in the return game. 10. Jaiquawn Jarrett (S - PHI): Appears to have the inside edge for the productive SS spot for the Iggles. 11. Shiloh Keo (S - HOU): He's shot up my board after reading up on how the new regime just loves the guy. With Pollard gone, Keo could be the new leader of the Texan secondary. 12. DaQuan Bowers (DE - TBB): If the knee is good, this guy could be a huge steal for you. Don't overpay. 13. Adrian Clayborn (DE - TBB): If Bowers' knee is shot, this guy could be a huge steal for you. 14. Jonas Mouton (LB - SDC): He'll have to fight some guys off for a starting spot, but it might not be that big of a deal. 15. Quan Sturdivant (LB - ARI): Nice little sleeper here; could be given a shot at starting if the incumbent Lenon looks as average as he really is. 16. Martez Wilson (LB - NOS): If he were thought to have a chance at the WLB spot, he'd be 10 spots higher. The Saint SLB has actually produced decent fantasy numbers but the ceiling is a bit limited. 17. Casey Matthews (LB - PHI): The bloodlines are there, but will have to hope for Stewart Bradley to either get moved or continue to have injury problems. Then he'd have to beat out Jamar Cheney, which might be a bit difficult. 18. Nick Fairley (DT - DET): In leagues that start them individually, Fairley is the best DT in this class by a hair. 19. Cameron Jordan (DE - NOS): Could really flourish in the Saint system if he can stay consistent. 20. Marcell Dareus (DT - BUF): Just a hair below Fairley in terms of DTs this season. You look at this group and it just is not a very good class overall. Even if Foster and McCarthy both get their bumps, this class drops off quickly. The DEs landing where they did was flat out a major disappointment. Maybe 7 real LB who project to LB2/LB3 or better with possibly up to 3 becoming possible LB1s (if everything falls right). DTs have some room to make some impact. 3 possibly DE1/DE2 with a shade of depth. DBs are just outright putrid.
