Steeltown Dre
How do the numbers compare? Significantly more people at one vs. the other?

The Wolf
Went to Vegas one year. never to AC. Is WCOFF even holding events this year?
Big Country
Vegas is by far the largest. They have had as many as 70 leagues drafting on the Saturday for their main event, and had a full slate of events this past year on Friday and Saturday for drafts. However, this year, given the financial difficulties of the WCOFF, the non-payment of winners and the ownership turmoil, I believe the vast majority of the Huddle contingent that has participated in WCOFF and attended the live Vegas drafts in the past are switching over the to FFPC for their higher stakes league. bushwacked
You do know WCOFF hasn't paid all the prize money from last year and appear to be in some kind of financial trouble...right? Edited July 19, 2011 by bushwacked
MustOfBeenDrunk
I would recommend staying away from the WCOFF this year
Steeltown Dre
Don't say you haven't been warned Thanks as always Big John - will review that good thread later. I'm surprised given their situation it appears "business as usual" on their website. I wonder how the participation will be at their live event. I will review the FFPC - their live event is at Caesars Palace the same weekend. Thanks guys
twiley
Pretty much agree with everything already said - we use to tear it up at the WCOFF Vegas event. Not this year, staying far far away from that mess.

JUMbotron
I used to be part of the management team for WCOFF with Co-Founders Lenny Pappano & Emil Kadlec. We were the first live, big-money contest, and the classiest contest too. It was a glorious era, everyone had a great time. Payments always went out rapid-fire. Lenny and Emil sold the WCOFF in 2007 and I know next to nothing about the new owners. Hopefully everyone gets paid.
DawgTalk
I have done the WCOFF for 3 years now. Brining in money my first and third year. My first year was by far my best year, however, this past year I did just enough to make my money back. Unfortunately I am one of those still owed 2k bucks. Not sure if Ill ever see that... I will NOT be participating this year for that reason.
Bronco Billy
PT Barnum would take great pride in WCOFF.
