alexgaddis
JasonLaCanfora: More from NFL Network: Vikes and Skins have parameters of a deal for McNabb but agreeing on financial terms with him could be tricky...
MikesVikes
I saw something on ESPN about this. I think we've met our quota on former Eagles players.
CaP'N GRuNGe
He's got a house down here in Chandler not far from where I'm at. Should i go knock on his door and see if this has any legs? If he does wear the purple, Hugh One's head is going to explode.
T-Scorp
I thought we were done with ex Eagles when we let Chilly go. I suppose they are looking for a vet to hand the reins off to Ponder half way through the season?

CaP'N GRuNGe
This probably makes more sense than the Favre to Philly as a backup rumors. I thought Favre was busy training Joe Webb and pushing Frazier to hand him the starting position?
SeductiveNun
Somebody better be ready with the shovel and bucket to scoop him up and put him away for the season, because our offensive line isn't going to be much better than it was last year. McNabb will end up being the next grease spot that used to be a top NFL QB to come here in the twilight of his career.
MustOfBeenDrunk
34 years old & Last year he had more INT's than TD throws for first time in career. Me thinks even a change of scenery won't be enough for him at this point in time
CaP'N GRuNGe
I'd rather have Hasselbeck for a stop gap.
Duchess Jack
I think its a good fit. I mean with Hass already earmarked, Bulger having no heart - Yince Young wanting a chance to be the future somewhere and Orton requiring some draft picks (and needing to be traded in division) who else do you have? Me thinks even a change of scenery won't be enough for him at this point in time To be fair, last year was McNabb's first season in an entirely new system. In fact the system Shanny runs is exactly opposite for QBs in regards to the progression of their reads. Minny will offer a WCO which is what McNabb ran in Philly. I'm not saying McNabb will be a pro-bowler but he will be much better than Favre was last season, imo and much better than the rookie Ponder. If that fat doooooosh becomes a Viking i won't watch a single Vikings game this year. For reals.

MikesVikes
We're gonna need a veteran QB around since we lost the bestest ever coach for developing young QBs, Mr. Brad Childress.

You know, they should change their color to dark green and put a wing on their helmet. Edited July 27, 2011 by BearBroncos
