bpwallace49
rajn, how does this impact Meachum? The guys gets hype, but never takes that next step to dominance. Is Meachum still the #3 WR now?
delfamdelfam
I like Moore this year for some reason. Colston is coming off surgery and Brees seems to like Moore better than Meachem. There both being drafted so late you could probably pick up both if you so desired.
Scooby's Hubby
Colston - 5 knee surgeries in 5 years. Meachem is still worthy of a fair percentage of the 4500+ yards Brees will throw for, maybe 15% if Colston stays healthy, maybe more if he doesn't. Brentastic
I acquired Moore in LLD and feel like I nabbed a true 1b WR. If you've been paying attention, you'll notice Moore is quietly Brees' favorite target when healthy, imo. I see no reason for him not to approach 1k yards and 8+ TDs. Glad this deal got done. There's a few factors that play into Meachem having a breakout, better speed being one. But two of the biggest is the Saints finally moving past Devery Henderson as their big play guy and a healthy backfield to keep the defenses from keying on the pass. MTSuper7
Meh... Robert Meachem is on the verge of entering Troy Williamson territory which isn't where you want your career to be. He'll probably look good this preseason and disappear for most of the real season, barring injuries ahead of him on the depth chart. His stats dipped last year over 2009. I predict he has a 51-745-6 type of year which means you have to hope you start him the weeks he scores TDs. Brees has Colston, Moore, Jimmy Graham, Henderson, among others. Like always, picking a NO WR to emerge as a consistent fantasy producer is like trying to predict what's going to hit on a roulette wheel (even Colston was pretty unreliable most of last year). Move along...
