dbforbes
I just don't get it. I really just don't get it. Are they now going to use DRC as trade bait or something? Or is Assante the odd Pro Bowler out? Edited July 29, 2011 by dbforbes
Clubfoothead
what happens to asante? nnamdi and DRC Certainly seems like one too many starting corners.
delusions of grandeur
what happens to asante? nnamdi and DRC They're going to have to worry about DeSean Jackson too, who was already holding out for more dough before this... Can't see how this whole thing is even financially possible to have 2 high salary guys in the secondary to pay (on top of Samuel), when your high profile wideout is demanding more money... kpholmes
As a Cal fan... I'll love getting to watch both DeSean and Nnamdi together now!
delfamdelfam
most teams start 3 WR's so having 3 good CB's is good, but my guess is there is more to this. You can't afford to pay Nmadi/Samuel that much money and still pay Jackson. And they still have to extend Michael Vick as he's on a one year contract. bpwallace49
So does this put them out of the running for Plax?
darin3
Holy crap. After hearing Joseph went to the Texans, I thought it was pretty much a sure thing he would be going to the Jets... then they dropped out so I figured it was going to be the Cowboys. Wowzers. bostonsoxandy
Makes them a Super Bowl contender if they weren't already. The star power is AMAZING in Philly. Vick, McCoy, DeSean, Maclin, Nnamdi, Asante, DRC, Babin, and im sure im missing someone
Henry Muto
Are they going to have enough money to give D-Jax a new contract ?

darin3
Heard from "a source" that Samuel may be on the move..... perhaps even to the Cards.
delfamdelfam
Heard from "a source" that Samuel may be on the move..... perhaps even to the Cards. which would make sense, saves Eagles $9mil which they can use to resign Jackson and still upgrade at CB. Zooty
and they were something like $24 mil under the cap so they should still be good even with Vick and DJ
