kpholmes
I realize none of these guys are Ray Lewis in his prime - but you'd think with talents like Ruud, Poz and now Tatupu entering the FA pool would cause some buzz around the NFL. Instead, they've merely been side points on NFLN and ESPN; little "Oh and by the way" comments. Why no hype on young, stud LBs this season? Just not a pressing need for a lot of teams right now? Concussion concerns?
Zooty
Poz is probably the top talent and even he is considered a product of a poor DL. I hear Rudd get slammed by callers on NFL Sirius as a guy who makes tackles 5 yards downfield. Tulloch seems to be overlooked as well. Barrnet will possibly be hugh in Buf. But other than that its guys like Durant, Bradley and Tatupa who all are average or coming off multiple injuries. McIntosh isn't even mentioned. Diles, Spikes and Burnett may end up having the biggest impact and they aren't exactly flashy names either. Oh and you know D players never get pub in the media unless they are scoring TDs (CBs) or making sacks (DL). Even DEs have been barely mentioned so far.
