Brent
My pick for the AFC is the Patriots. I think Hayneworth is a huge addition, more than just his weight. Their secondary got another year of experience, as did their LB corp. The OL is lights out, with Light in there. And the receiving options are as strong as ever with Welker healthy, both of those TE, and now #85 roaming the outside. And Bill may have his best RBBC that he has ever had with the law firm, the scatback, and the 2 draft picks. This team is loaded with young talent, with just enough vets to keep them in line. Factor in they were 14-2 last yr, I see a deep run in their horizon this year. My pick for the NFC is the Saints. Their D got alot better with Cam Jordan, and they finally have a cow bell running back, that wont be injured every other week. Their OL is solid, and their QB is elite. Factor in a complete mismatch for any DB in the league in Jimmy Graham, this offense is going to light it up this year. Defensively, they finally have someone opposite Will Smith to create pressure, and the weakness of this defense, the belly, likely wont be exposed, with teams having to throw so much to stay in the game. So I got a New Orleans - New England Superbowl. With the Saints winning 31-28.

There aren't many FA QB's left out there! theprofessor
As much as I hate to say it I think it might be the Jets year this year. I think that a lack of running game will hurt the Patriots in the playoffs. If Philly stays healthy they're the team to beat in the NFC. NY Jets = 26 Philadelphia Eagles = 24 Edited August 5, 2011 by theprofessor

Patriots
As much as I would not want to see it, I think this is the Jets year. They have been getting better each of the last two years and I think they put it all together this year.
Ditkaless Wonders
It is too early to say. We have not seen more than one or two practices with pads on. This thread may make better sense coming after the third preseason game. Right now I'd give the nod to the two winners of the off season, the Eagles v. the Patriots, but frankly the Packers or the Jets could get there very easily. Avernus
Packers beat the Steelers or Jets... the Eagles will probably lose to the Pakcers in the NFCC because the Pakcers won it all last year with so many injuries that they are just working with what they already know works....the Eagles still have to make all these new pieces work and then translate it to wins... MTSuper7
Ravens finally get over the hump this year - Flacco finally puts it all together as they upset the Patriots in the AFC Championship game. Atlanta is hungry and motivated after last year's one and done, and they beat division rival New Orleans in the NFC Championship game. Super Bowl - Ravens 20, Falcons 17. Avernus
Saints 34, Chargers 16 these are two teams I wanted to pick but I think the Ravens D is too old and the Chargers can only max out in the AFCC.....it's tough...
