Strength of Schedule Swings

I just noticed that Aaron Rodgers and GB WRs show biggest negative swing in 2010 AND 2011.

I also see that Matty Ryan shows biggest positive swing in 2010 AND 2011.

Is this happening because the 2010 strength of schedule article was just a projection and when the 2010 season was finally over the actual strength of schedule for GB QBs and WRs and ATL QBs turned out much different?

Strength of schedule takes the stats from the previous year and projects them onto the future year. Schedule swings takes the actual stats from last year and projects them back over last year to see how hard the schedules actually were and also projects them against the future year to see how a team stacks up against the "average defense" last year and this year. Negative scores mean they faced tougher than average (allowing fewer points) and positive means better than average.

What it also doesn't take into account is the ridiculous playoff run that Rodgers went on last year. I personally don't look too much into it. Talent and situation outshines all else when it comes to drafting.

There are players who are bigger than their schedule and other who are not. The elite players are always the least affected by a schedule.
