should be drafted? Aaron Hernandez is having a really good preseason and Gronkowski seems to be invisible. Both seem like they can be had in the 12th round, so with about the same ADP, which is better to have? Hernandez seems the better talent, but Gronk just seems to get it done.

They are both going to get thrown to and you will never be able to pick which one will have the better week. I would avoid both...

Hernandez was limited very much by his hip injury last year. That's why after getting off to a great start he pretty much disappeared and Gronkowski got the limelight. After years of doggedly drafting TEs, Belichick struck gold twice in one year. Flip a coin, but Hernandez is the more natural pass catcher of the two, I think.

A situation like this, where you can't figure out who among solid TEs or who among the WRs are worth taking, knowing they're all likely going to put up nice numbers but you just don't know who reminds me exactly which QB is the guy I'd be willing to take earlier or for more money than I'd usually be willing to at that position.

It really seems like the NE passing game is going to be great this year and there's only one guy in that group who is assured of being a stud.

Hardly going out on a limb here, but Brady is easily my #1 QB this year. I hate NE and am not looking forward to how good they're going to be this year.

I dunno... I honestly don't see how you could pass on Gronkowski and pick Hernandez. Gronkowski is clearly more of a red zone target, and had some decent yardage games too. Brady has so many targets between the 20s, Gronkowski looks like one of the only real red zone guys

Living up here in the Northeast, I've been subjected to constant Pats coverage and games. No Sunday Ticket here, so I've watched the Pats a lot and I'm not a fan of the team. Makes me more of an objective observer? Anywho, I agree with the earlier comments about Hernandez in more of a WR role. What I saw in Hernandez last season was a really large WR that could create space after the catch. He's got this wicked stutter step... I guess you'd call it.. and he uses it right after he catches the ball to create space and run. I was much more excited about his upside after last season than Gronk, and I feel like Brady went to Gronk more near the end of the season because Hernandez was injured.

I see both guys outperforming their ADPs given the mismatches both create and the way NE targets weakness in an opposing D, but I think with Henandez you're going to get big games and then some insignificant games. Gronk seems to be warming to being Brady's safety net, which would make him the more consistent guy. I think you could use Gronk as a low end TE1 whereas Hernandez is someone you use as a TEBC and play matchups.
