Even easier and better:

Cucumber

RIPE tomato

VIDALIA onion

Kraft Zesty Italian

Parmesan Cheese

Let it soak for at least two hours.

You really should also try Cucumber, plain yogurt, dill.

I make the same one. But instead of the Kraft stuff I use the Good Seasons Italian mix using really good extra virgin olive oil and garlic flavored vinegar. Darn good salad.

86 the mayo, use rice wine vin, sugar, salt, touch of toasted sesame oil

We make mountains of a similar salad at Jujube to serve with our grilled hanger steak. Together, they compose our most popular dish.

Thinly sliced cukes

thinly sliced red onion

sweet chili sauce

lemon zest

rice vinegar

salt

chopped cilantro

Her's something you guys might want to try with Beef/Lamb/Chicken. It is more of an accompaniment to a kebab styled meat served on Lavash or some other type of flat bread. It is widely used in Turkey and delicious:

VERY THINLY SLICED red onion

Olive Oil

Parsley

Lemon Juice

Salt

Sumac

If you want to spice it up a bit, throw in some red peper flakes.

This is very similar to what I was thinking. (mayo? ???)

Ours is cukes, halved cherry tomatos, diced celery, italian parsley, olive oil. She loves those seedless cukes but I personally don't care.
