michaelman
would anyone pickup jerome harrison? Coach Jim Schwartz confirmed that Jahvid Best did indeed sustain a concussion Friday night, and the Lions will be "very, very cautious" with him this week. Best experienced a "little headache" after having his bell rung, so the Lions sent him to the locker room. "By the next day he was clearing up and I think that's a big thing," said Schwartz. "In my experience with guys that have been concussed, usually they finish the game and they feel fine right after the game, and the next day they come in and haven't slept and all the classic symptoms." Schwartz hopes to have Best back on the field "soon," though his status for this week's game is uncertain.
piratesownninjas
I believe he has a history of concussions from some monster hits while at Cal.
irish
Harrison has sneaky good value and I see it growing more and more. Best is injury prone and it won't be long before Harrison has to fill in as the #1 guy there. And in that offense, Harrison could be key for fantasy teams. michaelman
I believe he has a history of concussions from some monster hits while at Cal. He does... I was at the game where he was flipped and landed on the back of his neck... But like... even if he is eventually sidelined... how productive would harrison be as a work-horse back in Det offense? I don't believe they'd use him as a workhorse back, nor are they going to do that with Best. I believe the Lions also signed Mike Bell for added depth. We'll see what the depth chart shakes out to be. I think Harrison has value even if Best stays healthy.

I think Harrison or bell would be an emergency start. If you're starting him week to week you're probably not contending for much other than next years 1.
