High stakes issue?

In the FFPC high stakes championship leagues a player can be dropped and then subsequently acquired by another team prior to week 11, the final week of the regular season. My high stakes league is very similar except free agency ends prior to week 10. In my league, any first or second round player would not be available. What would prevent a team who is out of contention, dropping all their top players? What would prevent several teams from doing this? I can also see where one team retains all of their blind bidding dollars until that week waiting for this to occur. Collusion, in this case, could also be involved. Am I missing something?

I have been playing in these leagues for years. If you see something like this happen you report it and the player is taken out of FA. It is that simple.
