buddahj Posted September 1, 2011 Share Posted September 1, 2011 (edited) I can't remember how many years ago it was, but I traded Chad Pennington (NYJ) for Reggie Wayne. Pennington had just blown up 2 weeks straight & the guy I traded needed a QB due to injury. Needless to say, I think Pennington went down for the season a week or two later & Wayne helped propel me to a championship. yilduz Posted September 1, 2011 Share Posted September 1, 2011 Well, in a very deep, large league there are no starting QBs available in FA. In fact, many 2nd stringers have been added to rosters. One of the teams only has 1 QB, who until recently was Peyton Manning. He was kind of panicking about the neck injury, so he gave me Manning for Mark Sanchez and Vernon Davis. Worst I've ever seen was a new Seattle area homer in our local keeper league. Traded the rights to his first ever draft pick (Adrian Peterson) to the 3-time defending champ for a 31 year old Shaun Alexander. This was in November, and it was widely known at that time that Tiki was retiring. Moreover, the other guy proposed the trade to me.
