Not happy about his contract and this is what he had to say, "The Bears made their decision, now I have to make mine. It's just how the business works. It's not going to take away from what I do on the field. I'm 100% a Bear, until I'm not a Bear anymore."

Just another pawn of Drew Rosenscumbag's. The guy doesn't care about the NFL, its teams, loyalty or the game of football. He cares about money, nothing else. Don't wanna give "my guy" (read: ME) more money? Fine, trade him! :poker face:

The NFL would be so far better off without Rosenhaus.

The messed up thing is that now he's complaining about the one-way street with owners not having to honor contracts. A point that can actually have some merit in plenty of situations. But not in this case because he front-loaded the contract to protect himself from that one-sided situation biting him in the ass. He got most of his cash already meaning two things. 1) that he's less likely to get cut and 2) if he does, it's not as big a deal because he already got paid big time.

I mean, say, because of the fact that contracts aren't assured, a top player was able to negotiate having nearly every penny of his contract up front. Certainly, more and more, it's getting that way. So, dude signs a $50 million, 5 year contract with $45 million up front. Are we really supposed to take him seriously when he complains about the fact that he's only making $1 mil a year in year five? That is basically an extension of what is happening here.

Wait, you're going to cloud a multimillionaire's "rail against the man" shouts of oppression with facts and reasonableness?
