I kept Levy on my team instead of Maualuga, but now I'm thinking of dropping Levy and getting Maualuga again. What's the thought on Maualuga this year? Top 10 or 15 LB? Run don't walk and go get Maualuga back...this is what I wrote about him in the IDP Preseason Breakdowns...and I was being conservative when I said top 25...I really think he could crack the top 15. Rey Maualuga is going to be a top 25 or better fantasy linebacker this year. I am not pulling your leg; I have high expectations for Maualuga this season. Dhani Jones is gone and Maualuga has taken over as the starting MLB job. Additionally, get this; it currently looks like he is going to be a three-down linebacker too. The sky could be the limit for Maualuga considering how much time this defense could spend on the field. darin3 Posted September 2, 2011 Share Posted September 2, 2011 Agree w/ Keg. That Bungle D is going to be on the field a lot this season. Maualuga has been has been disappointing in the solo tackle sense but has backed up his upside by always gaining assists. With a more defined role this year, he could be big. I have been even more conservative with him, but he's a guy that could easily shoot up the rankings in a hurry if he makes good on the opportunity.
