SpeedRacer
Then why is the smartest QB in the game trying to risk his career for another record? I never said that he was, and while I realize you guys have this sub-thread going on the matter, it's all conjecture, speculation, and quite frankly: B.S. Dungy doesn't have a hotline to whatever is in Peyton's head. In fact, he's part of the media now, and it's his job to throw stuff like that out there because people eat it up. Yes, I'm sure the record is important to him, but there is no way he is going to trot out there on Sunday and risk his career over a record. His arm isn't as strong as it should be, and he hurt his back over the weekend while throwing the ball. It's called "cascading injuries", and that's why they shut him down. Zero chance he plays on Sunday, record or no record. Edited September 6, 2011 by SpeedRacer
gardenthug
I'll be rolling out the Houston defense vs the Colts on Sunday.
cdrudge
If this is true, not good news for the Colts. It's official - Collins gets the start: http://nfl.si.com/2011/09/07/peyton-mannin...3&eref=sihp Edited September 7, 2011 by cdrudge
JUMbotron
Just like Shaun Hill, or Jon Kitna, I don't see a huge dropoff, at least in sheer fantasy output. The Colts won't be nearly the same fast-break offense for sure- but Collins has been doing this a long time. He's a pro.

I'm certainly not benching Wayne for Nate Washington or Marshawn Lynch.
