jl9060
This is my first time playing with IDP and I think that I pretty much robbed them blind. I feel like there must be something that I am missing here so let me know. I have the top 3 linebackers and a top defensive player at all the other positions and I didn't have to sacrifice any offense for them. kiskahusky
as an IDP player for the last 6 years, I love your defense! I play in a 14 team league, so even though there are many more star players available in your league, but you got quite a few studs. Well done! keggerz
I haven't ever played in an 8 team league so can't comment based on that but you did get many of the top rated IDPs. Also for both of you...Welcome to the forum and good luck this season.
kiskahusky
thank you! i used the huddle rankings and articles and came away with this defense in my 14 team league: J Allen C Johnson D Morgan Grenway DJ Williams Maualuga Polamalu W Moore J Jarret .5 pt for each tackle or assist 3 pts for a sack, int, forced fumble or fumble recovery 2 pts for each pass defensed Based on huddle rankings, I'm pretty happy with this defense

TheShiznit
had the ninth pick in my local I have been doing for about 8 years. Here is the IDP I got. We only have to start one DE/DT and one CB/S. We have to start at least two LB or up to 4 max. Since LB score the most in our league....most teams field at least a 3 LB starting lineup with two SS. We get 2 points per tackle, 1 point per assist, 5 for a sack, additional 5 for safety, 10 points for int's, and 5 points for forced fumbles, and 5 pts for fumble recovery. However, we also lose points if the defender then loses a fumble or in the outside chance throws an int. I focus mainly on the tackles. Here is what I got in a 12 team redraft: Linebackers: I will start 4 every week Lawrence Timmons Jon Beason(inj) E.J. Henderson Nick Barnett Joe Mays Casey Matthews Aaron Curry DE/DT: Jared Allen CB/S: Eric Berry Bob Sanders Based on this, I think I may have the best LB combination in my league and should score plenty of pts...even if I trade Beason for trade bait. My only question is how good will Aaron Curry be on the weakside in Seattle......or how good will Mays and Matthews be? Any thoughts? Also, which LB should I use as trade bait to upgrade on offense....RB's are little to be desired...but we start 6 offensive and 6 defensive and one kicker....so it all equals out.
