JUMbotron
How do you mean? Carter was promoted to No. 2 , now the top backup to Addai

irish
Honestly, this is old news. It may now have become official but it was just a formality. Many thought even if Donald Brown stayed with the team that because he never made an impression when given the opportunity and was made of glass, that Carter would be the #2 guy. On top of that Carter was already being viewed as a better compliment to Addai and at the very least, the best GL option the Colts had. With Brown gone, Carter was basically locked into the #2 role and when Addai goes down, Carter just might take his job and even if Addai stays healthy and produces, Carter should be the GL, CoP guy and surefire handcuff for Addai owners. Â ETA: I thought Brown was released by Indy. Edited September 7, 2011 by irish
loaf
I took Carter in the 11th or later whenever available. I think he's just a threat to double digit TDs as McGahee is in Denver.
Rydher
My bad guys. Too many after dinner drinks. I thought it said: Delone Carter now top back in Indy Edited September 6, 2011 by Rydher

CaptainHook
Carter has looked much better than Brown in the pre-season. However, I think it will be RBBC in Indy this year. The only way one back gets a majority of the carries is if there are some injuries. With Addai though, that is always a possibility.

Goopster24
Drafted him late as well in keeper league. I whiffer on Donald Brown several years back; hoping opposite here.
Chaos
The Indy line has never been good as run blocking. Without Peyton, I don't see how there can be much 2011 excitement on Carter. Guess it all depends how long he's out.
Goopster24
I guess the thinking some had was they would focus more on the running game if Peyton is out.
