From following on GameCast it sounded like Gore was pretty ineffective. He got many goalline shots and didn't produce. Did he look bad? Was it the line? Was the Seahawks D that good? Thanks. Seahawks21 Posted September 12, 2011 Share Posted September 12, 2011 The Seahawks can stop the run. Harbaugh also didn't call a very imaginative game. He ran when you thought he would run, and passed when you thought he should pass, and ran on a bunch of 3rd and longs as well. He might not quite be in "game shape" yet. At least that's what I'm hoping! My other RBs are Foster (hurt) and Ingram (rookie), so I really need Gore to step it up. I agree that he probably isn't in game shape yet, and that the Seahawk's D was designed to stop him. I think he'll pick it up in the next game or 2.
