v0dka
Cowboy fans thanks for all the support through the years & def right now after the tough loss Sunday. I wanna say thank you and much respect I haven't read anything that would confirm this, just some speculation based on his twitter post. MTSuper7
I haven't read anything that would confirm this, just some speculation based on his twitter post. I'm sure if this was real, someone would have sniffed it out and reported it by now. Sounds like he just worded his post awkwardly enough to make it sound like a "goodbye Dallas, it's been fun" kind of message.

Balzac
he'd certainly make a lot of sense for a team like the Phins
Balzac
I think they worked out Brian Westbrook today. And julius jones and some other has-beens. Choice still has skills - he deserves a shot somewhere.
The Wolf
Would love to see Choice on the Jets. Thing is, Felix Jones wasn't all that impressive so I have to wonder why Dallas would look to trade Choice now, just after week 1. Maybe they do like Murray but no reason to weaken depth when Jones is injury prone. You move Choice and you really only have Murray as back up. Personally, I think it's a poorly worded Tweet that was simply meant to thank Cowboys fans for supporting the team after another tough loss. George Foreman Grill, are u on? what about that tweet says anything about being traded or goodbye to Dallas?
junta
I thought it was a poorly worded tweet as well. But then I went on to his twitter account and noticed two replies he made to people who asked him if the trade rumors were correct. In one, he said it is in God's hands. The other he thanks the person for telling him that he hopes he lands in a good place. @tchoice23 rumors are flying you were traded on talk sites, please tell me this isn't trueTC. TC reply: if it's god plan but I'll be aight @tchoice23 Not sure if you are hinting that you are leaving the boys, but i do hope you get a fresh start somewhere. U have a great future! TC reply: Thanks! He did not respond to anyone else who apparently read the tweet as poorly worded who offered encouragement for upcoming games with the Cow Girls. Scooby's Hubby
As a huge Cowboys fan, I can not say this more clearly, BYE Tashard. You are slow, you have no power and your time at the NFL level has passed. If we can get something for you then by all means. Phillip Tanner is by far the better back. Can't wait to see you at the goaline Tanner.
Wizards
Think the Packers make sense.....pass catching back to add edge threat as check down...plus he's a decent rusher...loved to see Pack get him....then they could send Grant to retirement.....he looked old Sunday... rattsass
I'm not as sure as I used to be that Choice was starter quality, but I will say this. The Cowboys have seemingly gone out of their way to make this guy look bad on the football field. They put him in impossible situations, just like they did on Sunday. First carry? 4th & 1 and a stacked line. And then he is punished when he doesn't come through. I really hope something happens today if something is going to happen, because he has worked his way down to "most expendable" on my dynasty roster and I am just about to cut the cord. Come on Dallas!! Do it dammit!!!!

You think they'd trade him to a NFC powerhouse? Jerrah is bold, but not stupid. He's going to an AFC team or to an NFC team that'll finish .500 or worse. He's going to an AFC team or to an NFC team that'll finish .500 or worse. If they have soured on him and see him as fodder for a draft pick, what difference does it make? It isn't like Choice is Vick or Peppers?? LOL......Teams definitely try to avoid same division, but a draft pick and contract is gone is a motivator as long as they don't see the player twice a year (AS A STARTER!)...Choice would be a 3rd down relief for Starks.... polksalet
I know no one else has noticed this but there always seems to be a villain on jerry's team. A cynic might say that he is trying to pin the team's blame on other people so that they don't look at him and see the failure that he so perfectly represents. Fans of other teams like to laugh and jeer at the cowboyzzz because they are like a 900 lb. gorilla chasing its tail and flinging poo while yelling apescenties at the top of its ape lungs. Lets look at the 2008 nfl draft for a moment. Actually let's look at the rb's taken. I will list the round and overall pick taken. 1.4 Darren Mcfadden, Jones college teammate who so far look way better than Jones. 1.13 Jonathan Stewart, No one with any intelligence thought he was going to be good but has had a comparable career to Jones 1.22 Jones, mediocre career hampered by chronic gimpness. Some might say they wanted a compliment to Marion the Barbarian who was not very good but did look cool bouncing around with his deadlocks. We all know Jerry values coolness over success. 1.23 Rashard Mendenhall, arguably a top 5 rb and the face of the running game for the most successful franchise in NFL history. Gee, I wonder if he's better than jones. 1.24 Chris Johnson. Is this guy good? 2.44 Matt Forte, Fifth in the league int total yards since he was drafted. Yeah he's better than Jones. 2.55 Ray Rice. Ummm yeah he's better than Jones 3.64 Kevin Smith, maybe the first RB taken that wasn't as good as Jones 3.69 Jacob Hester, Hes a FB not a RB 3.89 Steve Slaton, 1,282 rushing yards his rookie year. That's better than Jones best year. 4.122 Tashard Choice, he is an average NFL back. Nowhere near the talent but he's not injured every 30 seconds like Jones so I'd take him. If he played for the Steelers he'd be a 1,200 yard back. 5.139 Ryan Torain, another career that is similar to Jones 5.146 Jerome Felton, FB 5.149, Tim Hightower. Solid starting NFL back vastly superior to Jones 5.166 Marcus Thomas, I think this is the first time I've heard of this dude so advantage Jones. 6.172 Thomas Brown, forgot he existed, advantage Jones I got tired of looking at a bunch of dudes I'd forgotten about so I can say clearly that Jones is better than any RB taken in the 6th or 7th round. The point of this story is that the cowboyzzzz well they just suck. The problem isn't Chan Gailey, Terrell Owens (remember the team cancer tag they tried to put on him?), its not Jessica Simpson, its definitely not Bill Parcells, the problem is that Jerry Jones is half the owner that Al Davis is and the cowboyzzzz are the NFL equivalent of Notre Dame. A once proud team that's not a joke of a squad. Edited September 16, 2011 by polksalet
Chavez
You think they'd trade him to a NFC powerhouse? Jerrah is bold, but not stupid. Why not, it isn't as if the Boyz are going anywhere except the golf course for the next few offseasons.
skinsfan827
Nice insight polksalet. In hindsight Jones is the worst RB out of the 6 taken in the top 2 rounds and probably worse than a few more than that. Has anyone noticed Jerry always picks who Mel Kiper says he will? As much as I like having Mel Kiper around to give some sort of insight to the young talent coming into the league, I've always said, if he was that smart about it, he would be an NFL GM. During the coverage of that draft, I remember Mel Kiper talking about how great of a compliment Felix would be to Barber. Dan Snyder finally hired a real GM. Every day Jerry refuses to is a good day for me.
