Shorttynaz
Simple question...can Rexy be a consistent fantasy QB for the season??? Re-phrase....WILL he be?? It's simply too early to tell. Before the Bears had Orton, they had Grossman. He did take them to the Super Bowl and he did have a pretty good fantasy season that year - with pretty much similar weapons to what he has in Washington. He does have a pretty favorable schedule. I'm not gonna lie - I have him rostered and actually starting this week. On my bench are Eli and Sanchez. If he has a decent game against the Cards this weekend and then next weekend at Dallas I'm a believer. However his "fantasy playoff" schedule is BRUTAL! Thanks for the insight...had forgotten about his history with da Bears. I just picked him up for this week too, and that's why I asked the question. I keep hearing how his "last five games" have been impressive, so trying to get a feel for whether or not he could be a good starter going forward & for the rest of the year....I'm really hurting at QB, need something like that to fall into place. slainte
currently, i have ryan, freeman, and newton rostered in one league. not the most ideal situation, but i thought qb was deep this year and decided to fill the early picks with other skill positions. i don't llike any of their match ups and would love to get grossman and play him this week. question is, who would i drop? newton? he's multi-dimensional threat like another certain qb that was a waiver wire darling after last season's week 1. freeman? he put up decent points last week and you have to think he can progress beyond that. that leaves ryan. i admit that it's still too early to give up on him. but i've been waiting for him to breakout for the last couple of seasons. i think there's potential for him to come out swinging and try for redemption this week. but he can just as easily throw picks all day. plus, the birds are week against the run and i think atlanta will try to keep the defense honest by pounding the football. i wish there was more polarity between josh and matty ice. i like grossman, but at what cost? COP31
i would not drop Cam...if he maintains his fantasy start you will be sick to your stomach, He is multideminsional ...and could be a Mike Vick Jr. in the makings... So you must decide between Mattie Ice and Freeman....answer KEEP Mattie,,, His weapons are second to none...heh just had a slow start... plus Bucs want to run first anywho.... hope this helps... Yep, I did the same thing this year, went low on QB (auction draft). In your situation, I probably bite the bullet and start Freeman this week. At least you have three decent possibilties the rest of the year (I picked up Cam too, hoping he is this year's Vick). i like grossman, but at what cost?
