BeeR
Okla/FSU obviously the big game; IMO anything could happen. Frankly none of the other games wow me matchup-wise - might Neb vs Wash be interesting? Wash 2-0 but not sure if that means much.
BeeR
*crickets* Not like there's much to talk about I guess. Clemson surprised by beating Auburn and PSU won a game they didn't deserve to, most other games appear to be blowouts

Chief Dick
BOOMER!!!!! Stoops should have blown that game out early. Too conservative near the goal line.
BeeR
OKla showed a lack of kill instinct there in various ways there - play-calling and players themselves IMO. FSU proved doubters they're for real. What a finish though.

SEC=UGA
At least OSU lost. And the Dawgs put up 59 against a JV highschool team... BTW, did you guys ever catch the interview with CC's coach?
Vote Quimby2
I was at the FSU game. The atmosphere was great and our D played well. Unfortunately, the offense wasn't up to the task. Serious issues on the o line that seemed to kill every drive. OU did what they had to do in a pretty crazy environment. Props to them. Square
The refs in the Wash vs Nebraska game were god f-ing awful. Nebraska won and I do believe they had the talent to do so regardless, but I would have liked to have them win that game and not have the refs be mentioned. If you didn't see it, they blew multiple calls that were out in the open and pretty indefensible.

Most of the time calls don't make enough of a difference, but this one was ridiculous. The calls were beyond horrible, and I am sure the Big 10 will discilpine that crew, but holy chit did it change the flow of that game. Those punt interference calls largely played into a 21 point swing in what was a very competitive game until that point.

Nope, blowing a ball hitting a return man and the other team recovering (although you can't advance those) is a hugh play and was obvious to everyone not wearing a zebra vest. The other call where they said it was interferance when the Wash player tackled the return man a split second after he caught it looked like a good play to me. Matt Millen is an ass clown and I hope he is eventually unemployed (for what he did to Detroit) but he was right. The play was "bang, bang" and I don't know how anybody is expected to wait longer than that when trying to aggressively cover a kick. Nebraska got "dumb ref'ed" a few games last year. To the extend to where people were making accusations that the B12 refs were "out to get them" so we have a some very recent experience getting the shaft. Nobody I've talked to wanted to win that way and most people feel for how the Wash fans got jammed by someone other than the opposing team. Nebraska fans definitely wanted to win that game, but having the refs hand them something is chitty for everyone involved. All that aside, your QB looked pretty good. Quick guy, there were a few times I thought the pressure was going to get to him and somehow he slipped right out pass the defense. Outside of the one solid hit that Crick had on him, Price didn't get hit very much. NU has issues on their O-line (starting 3 walk ons) and defensive secondary so I think we're more paper tiger than legit top 10 team. I think Wisky is going to roll us in a few weeks unless we play over our heads. The good news is that the rest of the B10 seems pretty beatable as long as we play a good game. Not sure if NU can do that, but they should at least have the opportunity to win most of their games this year. Probably only win 9 or so, but there is hope that our offense turns the corner.
