Sit Roddy White for these guys?

Given the uninspiring performances of the first two weeks and the fact that Roddy gets Aqib Talib this week(White was equally uninspiring against the Bucs last year), who among you are still starting him because you drafted him in the late first or second round?

Is it possible that this week you might seriously be considering the likes of AJ Green, David Nelson, Wes Welker, Santana Moss, Jeremy Maclin or god forbid White's own teammate Julio Jones(Mike Jenkins was the bread winner for them last year against the Bucs) and leaving Roddy on your bench?

Anyone?

Nope, I got cute and tried this last week when I thought Aso was going to be blanketing Roddy (forgot that Aso usually lines up on one side, not shadowing anyone in particular), and started Julio... Julio had 2 for 22, Roddy had a TD and it cost me the game

Unless Revis is on them, ASYS

No. Roddy is going to have several huge games this year. If you want to try to time them, go ahead. But you are going to feel quite sick when you are wrong. I like a couple of those guys, Nelson in particular, but you need to find another way to get him in the lineup rather than benching White.

Lol, this is just like the Megatron thread last year...the suckers that left him on the bench learned their lessons real quick.

This isn't about pushing the panic button. It's about the fact that just about all those guys have higher projected numbers than him this week.

I'm probably going with White because he's a PPR "stud" but I've actually given it some thought and was wondering who else might have also and what was the rationale.

Projections are just guesses. Dont pay them no mind. Roddy White is a top 5 WR and should be in your lineup every week. End of thread.

Based on history and match-ups. This is the exact same thing you are doing by assuming White will be the guy. Same thing I'm doing by weighing the options.

put it this way : if you bench him and he blows up how will you feel about that ? he's due . it's the NFL,where the law of average is true. he's healthy so you gotta start him

What if I leave him in my line-up just because and someone like Welker(I don't own him) blows up? Again.

I just don't buy "always play your "studs"" when you've got realistic, potentially better options. Just wondering what others were thinking.

I am indeed thinking of pining Roddy this weekend in favor of Britt and SSmith. Tired of leaving about 40 points on my bench each week. In fact, I'm trying hard to trade one of those three right now so I have more clear cut decisions each week. Hoping to upgrade at RB over Blount.

Britt and Smith this year you can make a convincing argument for, Welker, Maclin, as well. These guys have been top tier performers in the past and the planets now seem aligned for them to have continued success.

Nelson, the others...as Jeff Ross would say..."too soon."

He'll probably be on my bench again for the 2nd week in a row. I have other "unbenchables" on my roster though.

That's 'cause you're in 8 team leagues. I'm not going to be one of those d-bags who feels compelled to go off on small leagues, but it does change the way you play. ASYS theory sort of goes out the window when there's simply not enough room in the starting line-up for all the studs several teams may have.

Except do you really know who Revis is going to cover? Against Dallas he started out on Austin but switched over to Bryant after Bryant's hot start.
