Glabra
So how are the Beanie Wells nuthuggers doing this morning? He sure doesn't make it easy to support him..But I'm sticking with him. FEED THE BEAN!!!!
gbpackersfan
Idk why this guy is trying to convince us that Beanie is so terrible. Most of us used a 9-10th round pick on him, hes panning out FAR better than most 9th round picks.
giantsfan
News: Arizona RB Beanie Wells is expected to miss 1-2 weeks with a bone bruise on his knee, according to NFL.com. Wells left the Cardinals' loss to Pittsburgh in Week 7 with a sprained left knee -- the same knee he had surgery on last year -- and did not return. He limped off the field and finished with 12 carries for 42 yards. It was his lowest rushing output of the season as he failed to score a touchdown for the first time this year. Analysis: Wells' setback is the latest issue in his injury-riddled career. The 23-year-old also battled hamstring injuries earlier this season and missed one game as a result. When he has played, Wells has displayed the strong ability that made him a first-round selection in the 2009 NFL Draft. His six total touchdowns, including three in one game, rank third in the NFL. Alfonso Smith took over for him in Sunday's game and is expected to gain more playing time in Wells' absence. Fantasy owners should stash Wells in all formats for now. gbpackersfan
Haha, ok that makes sense. But as a 9th round pick, even if he misses 5-6 games from this injury hes still given me a couple wins. Glabra
This made me laugh; even though I don't agree with it completely.. Beanie's like a Chinese tool that's useful when it works, but alas it was built in China and sold at Harbor Freights. Breaks down when you need it most. One thing I'd warn you about, don't be surprised if he's probable on the injury report and doesn't play, or plays one series and gets hurt again. I would highly recommend against relying on this guy moving forward. Maybe he'll prove me wrong, but you know the old saying, "fool me once, shame on you, we can't get fooled again". gbpackersfan
Well on a semi-related note, I got offered Mathews/Maclin for Welker/Beanie. Kinda steep, would you do it? Im thinking of countering with him giving Mathews/Wallace..

Gdawg
I'm wondering just how long his knee injury will linger. Sure he's listed as being a GTD but that smacks of the usual gamesmanship to me, he doesn't seem likely to be a go @ BAL. Next up: STL. I'm hanging onto Alfonso Smith in case Beanie still can't go, anyone else? EVERYONE seems to put up numbers against STL, think he can as well?
